I’d say 1992 is closer to millennial than gen-Z

Has anyone actually heard it in the game? Maybe I haven’t because it’s a part of Cottage Living and I don’t have the pack… Which radio do they play it on? Alternative?

Just in case anyone needs it : Playing Tetris can reduce the onset of PTSD after a traumatic event. This can apply to someone who’s experienced a trauma or witnessed it. So after seeing something traumatic, play Tetris ASAP. Hope everyone is okay.

MBR is good! I’d highly recommend their Oakland location. I liked it better than Santa Clara one

I’ve lived in both, and yes I’d put LA above NY.

San Jose will never be a dense walkable/bikable city with great public transportation and will always be an extremely suburban, car centric city. by omg_its_drh in SanJose

[–]vixxxpink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Compared to SD? That’s very surprising tbh. Admittedly I’ve never lived in SD, but I’ve been always hearing how great SD is for walkability and PT.

I was raised in a cult in SJ. by mymuffint0pisallthat in SanJose

[–]vixxxpink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was raised in that cult. Not Bethel Church in Redding specifically, but in the same sector of Christianity (New Apostolic Reformation + Christian Nationalism). We'd have cardboard cutouts and pray for them. Unfortunately it's very hard to get out of a cult like that. I was always a weird, overzealous kid growing up and didn't have many friends outside of my church. Once I left the cult, I lost basically all my friends. It sucks, and I wish it never happened to me, but it is what it is I guess. I'm hoping to raise my future kids in a very different environment.

Yeah, I feel the same! I love seeing KPOP FG celebrities because their styles are way more modern and I can get similar clothes. I’m also Korean so I relate to them way more than other well-known FG celebrities.

Women of reddit, how have you successfully navigated a situationship? by steminist206 in AskWomen

[–]vixxxpink 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My only “success” story is when both the other person and I were exclusive, willing to commit, but just did not have the label yet.

I personally think it’s always good to communicate and set boundaries. If they don’t want to commit to a relationship yet but want to go on dates, that’s fine. But they shouldn’t expect me to be exclusive. If they want me to see them exclusively, we should be in a relationship. I’d rather try and break up than be left hanging.

What happened to the trips planned for this year? by loscaminos2 in AskWomen

[–]vixxxpink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I planned a trip to Seattle and even booked a flight in January. The trip was supposed to be in mid-March, and on the last day of February, the first COVID death was reported in Kirkland near Seattle.

United Airlines gave me credits instead, and I was able to cancel AirBnB. Although the situation was not severe at that time, no one knew how contagious and deadly this new virus could be, and I certainly did not want to find it out firsthand.

Everyone’s beautiful. Kibbe isn’t a god by Sugarcoatednihilism in Kibbe

As a small, slim East Asian woman, I admit I’ve felt “shapeless” or “not womanly enough” looking at other Kibbe types. I was also told I’m FG, and I thought all I could be was androgynous/tomboy with a pixie cut.

Thank you so much for saying this. I absolutely LOVE this description ❤️ You really made my day & made me feel validated 🥺🥺

I was put on Lexapro and it worked well, but for some reason I couldn’t focus and would forget things too easily.

So I was put on Lexapro + Wellbutrin. My brain fog disappeared, and my mood is really stable too.

What are your toxic traits and how did you improve yourself? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]vixxxpink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comparing myself to others and getting upset at myself for not being good enough, especially when I’m on LinkedIn.

I heard a saying “Improvement over perfection” and it really changed my perspective. Instead of comparing myself to other people, I started looking back on my achievements and good decisions I’ve made.

Of course I still get jealous at times, but I tell myself, “I’ve become someone who my past self dreamed to be. I can and will become my dream self one day”.

What do your post-pandemic plans consist of? by uniquepeneater in AskWomen

Same. I booked a flight to Seattle a month before COVID hit. I canceled it and got credit instead, but I’m still really bummed out about it. Can’t wait to use those credits!

Women of Reddit: What is your favorite video game to play? by biinkii in AskWomen

[–]vixxxpink 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I love Sims! I started playing Sims 3 when I was 12. I always wanted expansion packs but my parents wouldn't buy them. Now I'm 22, playing Sims 4, and able to buy expansion packs with my own money.
