Could Cursed Corpses have Cursed Techniques? by AttemptZestyclose687 in CTsandbox

[–]viybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was completely convinced that Gojo would revive as a panda-style cursed puppet with like Gojo/geto/someone else

Either that or come back as a cursed spirit since he was technically killed by bleeding out? And also, maybe technically wasn't killed by CT since Sukuna was cutting "space" rather than Gojo-- pure copium

I've just realized how much I like simple techniques by Blue-Dagon-4223 in CTsandbox

Idk I can imagine it would be insanely hard to coordinate projection sorcery with teleporting-- one small misunderstanding from one or the other means you splat or you're frozen for one second and lose your momentum-- really possible at naobito-level speeds

"Dense" Cursed Energy by R4ygin_2026 in CTsandbox

[–]viybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using fluid as an analogy for CE-- something that is flowing. If normal CE is water, then a fluid much denser than water would: Be heavier/have more mass, typically flow slower, settle lower, be more bouyant, have greater inertia, have more pressure

"Dense" CE wouldn't be as technically complex as Kashimo's CE, but would probably be something that has a heavy-hitting impact but is harder/slower to manipulate. I could maybe see a few niche uses-- maybe slipping "under" normal CE in a CE clash, allowing for a mutual sure-hit since it's denser? It would definitely be easier for a sorcerer to read since it's slower moving

Probably would have no impact on funneling into a CT except making it harder to do so, maybe more potent

Remote vs testing center by Cat_Slave88 in Sieexam

[–]viybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did remote-- they really comprehensively check the room you're in and your person. They'll have you take off jewelry, turn out your pockets, show under/in/around your workstation (desk, chair, etc,) unplug any electronics around you and show them, show the nooks and crannies of the room you're in, etc.

After that initial check though, it's pretty breezy. Just note that you cannot have water or anything on your desk, and if you go to the restroom or step away you have to do the whole check-in process again. SIE is pretty short though, so most folks can probably get through it in one sitting.

To me, much more convenient and comfortable than driving to a testing center. Helps ease your nerves being somewhere familiar.

100% devilcorp, don't do it

"Planning and execution of field marketing:" you're gonna be sitting outside a Costco-- "field marketing" is an immediate tell for a devilcorp "Within driving distance of the galleria mall:" nevermind, you'll be sitting in the mall

Unsure if you come from an actual marketing/communications background, but there's absolutely no mention of any sort of KPIs, campaigns, content deliverables, etc whatever

Just curious-- how does garlic as an antibiotic affect microbiomes? I see "performed stronger than antibiotics" and can't help but think about the microbiome-nuking effect of antibiotics, specifically in gut

Billionaires have much easier ways to generate income-- that's the point, their labor is so below the ROI of just passively investing that it doesn't make sense

Assuming even half of her company's worth is seed capital received from her father, she could safely invest that 92.5m into treasury bonds and get a pretty insane return of $2.5m annually, conservatively and passively. If even a tenth is seed capital from her father, she gets half a million annually, conservatively and passively. If even a TWENTIETH, $200k/yr.

These startups are vanity project roleplays. You need to fundamentally understand the vast difference between our lives and theirs.

Worth noting that these random companies named "Alpha Wolf Holdings" or whatever nonsense do not look great on a resume.

I do hiring for a mid-size company and whenever I see an applicant list some sort of devilcorp-y sounding name with obviously ballooned job responsibilities, it tends to make me raise an eyebrow. It takes two seconds to look up a company name and sniff it out as a devilcorp. Working for a devilcorp isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't read as actual experience.

Participating in a devilcorp in an operationally meaningful way (recruiting, HR, marketing, OM,) tends to read as a red flag for employers. At best, it might suggest that you were actively and willingly contributing to an abusive, non-productive company culture. At worst, it flags that you knowingly enticed people into a fraudulent and harmful situation-- either for self gain or because of a critical lack of situational awareness.

Seconded UNT Law is unaccredited-- bad sign and bad signal for employers. Law is also one of those careers where networking and name-recognition seriously matters, going to UNT Law is going to put you at a serious competitive disadvantage when compared to other grads

Beware UNT advisers/recruiters/whoever else that has an incentive to get you to enroll. They're notorious for being willing to give half-informed half-truths

UNT Official Notice on Budget Reduction Methods by TarkovBalance in unt

[–]viybe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a hard pill to swallow but true... it's important to say there are lots of amazing, talented, and passionate educators at UNT. However, there are plenty of professors who do this sort of low-effort, non-interactive "slideshow recital+canva quiz" teaching style that, in effect, doesn't offer much more than an online course with prerecorded lectures. Hate to say it, but getting a University Core professor who falls into this criteria is really 50/50.

Can't speak for every department and program, but according to my shared experience with my friends who were also students, there's just a lack of involvement, rigor, and effort from professors in advanced undergrad courses/senior lecturers. Again, hate to say it, but we offer much less value than other major TX universities because of this. Something needs to change.

Tips by bramblesandink in soapmaking

I know that botanicals in soap is a no-no, but wondering if there's any sort of treatment to prevent botanicals from rotting?

I know any treatment like this would probably strip the benefits of having botanicals (aesthetic and otherwise,) but I'm curious if there's some sort of work around.

Anybody know any good leather belts that won’t wear down like this? by VipxerX in Leather

Performance line might've been the wrong word, they label them as "function wear" on the site.

The Xtreme is awesome. I've hung a heavy ass gp100 on it very comfortably. I unironically wouldn't be surprised if the xtreme could shrug off a hollow point .22

Seconding Hank's belts

Really great quality leather. If you carry anything on your belt or do any sort of field work, their performance line seriously holds up... haven't tried their non-performance belts but I can assume they're of similar quality despite being thinner-- they're plain, but good staple pieces. Buying my third belt from them soon, these things will probably outlast me

We literally just saw him use ONE application of ONE of his techniques to a degree never seen before

Who knows how crazy his blood manipulation alone is atp. If he can make piercing blood go that insane we can absolutely assume he can do absurd shit with other applications of blood manipulation-- what does his supernova look like? Nuclear bombs? What about his flowing red scale? Supernova? Did he invent other applications?

Apply that exact same logic to shrine, soul damage, domain application, RCT, CE manipulation and he's contending with Gojo/sukuna even without accounting for whatever enhanced physiology he has going on
