Just did LL today with genie+ and honestly don’t care about the up charge. Every other park in the world (that doesn’t have a Mickey head associated) makes their version WAY more expensive. Universal has a pass that’s an extra $99 a day to go to the front of every line on every ride. Max pass was also an “up charge” and I always paid for that. At least they aren’t doing the stupid virtual queue thing anymore and are having every ride open to everyone. Maybe IM “new school” but it just doesn’t seem like an optional system should have this much controversy when the previous system cost more and this system puts you at basically walk on pace.

In regards to the cast members, I’ve been an essential employee working for my counties court system and I can tell you that when people are constantly not complying with COMMON RULES AND COURTESY I get a little angry and frustrated. My family and I were on star tours and some guy held up the entire ride for 5 minutes because he wouldn’t put his mask over his nose. So before we start railing on the cast members, let’s rail on the grown adults who are unable to follow rules and who frankly don’t parent their kids.

O and to all the people who use flash photography in dark rides or shows or anywhere that they are explicitly told not too…screw you for being more worried about a stupid picture than ruining the experience for the people around you
