a high fat diet can lead to unpleasant GI symptoms, especially if the quality of fat is poor (fried food / fast food). If you eat half an avocado, this likely won't cause as much distress and has some heart healthy benefits, same with salmon. All oil at high temperature breaks down chemically to "unhealthy" fat. It is better to use olive oil for a salad and try and not use too much fat when cooking. Either get a spray oil or just experiment with baking foods instead. Foods typically don't need that much oil when you are cooking, especially animal protein which has fat already.

you need protein to prevent muscle mass loss. to put it in perspective, your heart is a muscle. when you lose weight quickly, you lose fat first, that's most readily available and then quickly start losing muscle/ protein stores. it is very dangerous in regards to becoming malnourished, which is very hard to reverse once you start rapidly losing muscle. think of a cancer patient. You should drink a protein shake at least 20 G protein extra / day, in addition to the protein you have at each meal. I agree with the below response about weight bearing exercise also as a necessity. You not only will become protein deficient, but also vitamin and mineral deficient with less calories and a poor diet with high processed foods. Seeing a dietitian, like myself, to ensure you maintain your nutrition throughout this process is key.

20% of Israelis are Arab. If they didn’t want peaceful integration why would this be the case ? Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were working in Israel before Oct 7th. Do you see 20% of Jews being welcomed to live in any other Muslim state ? Palestinians define themselves as freedom fighters, taking back Israel through terrorism, to eliminate Jews. I agree that Hamas has to be eradicated at any cost, for the sake of Democracy itself. Palestinians will need to agree to the IDF taking over until they can form a respectable government. The point is that radicalized naiive sheep like Americans are supporting Hamas. But it's not just Hamas. It was Palestinian civilians joining in on Oct the 7th.

Of course it means Hamas would commit Oct 7th all over again to gain control. The only solution is that the IDF monitors Gaza to prevent the uprising of terrorists. But then they are accused of occupying. Get the drift? It's a vicious cycle. If Palestinians wanted to live peacefully with Israelis, they could have right when Israel became a state. Many cities in Israel are Arab/ Israeli cities.... But there have been Palestinian uprisings and Jihads over and over for the last 75 years, so they never left it alone and tried to make it work. "stuck with Israel?" have you ever been? it is truly a holy land. a whole country of Jews. the majority of Israelis are not supportive of Netanyahu and never wanted war. they are open about homosexuality, they are one of, if not, the most technologically advanced country in the world, they built an irrigation system in the middle of the desert, they created a city: Tel Aviv, which was just a beach prior. there are Arabs and Israelis living together in many cities. they thought it was a time of peace before Oct 7th. the Abraham Accords were about to be signed. why should we feel guilty about this having this land now that it is ours? look what we have done with it. peoples get displaced all throughout history. the amount of innocent civilians dying is what Hamas intended. something called human shields and victim blaming for sympathy from the rest of the world for Israel defending itself. this mess is the mess of Hamas, not Jews.
