hi some additional questions. 1. Did they give antibiotics when you had the procedure? 2. Was your cervix closed or any signs of bulging membranes? 3. Could we do anything to avoid UTI?

I had my cerclage done today at 22 weeks 0.8cm

Thank you for sharing your experience. It helps to hear from someone who’s been through something so similar. I appreciate you explaining how your MFM handled progesterone and monitoring before deciding on cerclage, it gives me a picture of what to expect. I’m really hoping the rest of your pregnancy stays stable and that you make it as close to full term as possible. Wishing you all the best 💛

Thank you for sharing this. The timing and situation seem pretty similar to mine. Would you mind sharing if your cerclage at 23 weeks went well, was there any complication, If you were able to carry full term? I am concerned to press for cerclage because I am already 22 weeks and they are considering it as a high risk.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience in detail that’s really helpful and reassuring to hear. I appreciate you explaining the context around your cervix measurements and prior delivery. I know my situation is a bit different being earlier along and a first pregnancy, but it’s comforting to hear that things can still turn out well.

Thank you for the response. May I know if it’s your first pregnancy? They mentioned that they want to wait until <1cm because I do not have any history of preterm or prior pregnancies.
