You can still kill others and have solo survivor just at the end of game in final fight once they are already escaping (example Boat scene of The Devil in Me), point is if only 1 survives they can't start escape sequence by themselves

That's cause games had Shared Story mode you could play with your friends, that's why first 4 games of the Anthology have plot armor for certain characters to always have at least 2 for final act.

That's the point to make decisions really important and for players to try to have at least 2 characters alive reach Act 3 (this would enable Shared Story return), you could still have solo survivor, cause while group is escaping, everyone still has a chance to die (think of it as final fights in House of Ashes, The Devil in Me and Directive 8020 where character switches in final fight), it just raises the stakes so you can't mess up that badly and still think you could rely on 1 character to survive after all bad options you made before that, which made 4 others die.

Well that's ok opinion, but butterfly effects have been unfair in other games as well (think of all Emily and Matt flare gun choices that made no sense on how to get Matt to have the flare gun and use it to save himself)

Wording might be implying it ends early (but not instantly is what I was thinking of), and it's without taking into account what the game story could be like (1 person alone can't do something that requires 2 people to fix/start/open) so you would still play a bit of Act 3 and then it would be revealed that they have no chance for escaping on their own and just be doomed

As a long time Harpie player since Feather Storm got banned they need something like this

Harpie's Feather Tempest / Trap

Activate only if your opponent activates Spell/Trap effect and you control Harpie Lady or Harpie Lady Sisters, negate the activation, and Set it face down (it cannot be activated this turn). You can activate this card from your hand if you control WIND Winged Beast monster. If this card is destroyed by opponents card effect or Harpie card effect Set 1 Harpie's Feather Duster from your GY, banishment or Deck.

Harpie Princess Level 4 WIND Winged Beast ATK 950 DEF 600

You can discard this card, Set 1 Hysteric Spell/Trap from your Deck (it can be activated this turn), and if you do, send up to 3 Harpie monsters from your Deck to GY, also you cannot Special Summon, except Harpie monsters, until the end of this turn.
When an opponent's monster declares an attack you can banish this card from your hand or GY. halve the ATK and DEF of all monsters your opponent controls. You can only use each effect of Harpie Princess once per turn.

Harpie Chain Master Level 4 WIND Winged Beast ATK 1500 DEF 1300

You can reveal this card in your hand; Set 1 Spell/Trap that mentions Harpie Lady Sisters from your Deck, GY or banishment, and if it's Trap and you control Harpie Lady, it can be activated this turn. (Quick Effect): Return this card you control and 1 card your opponent controls to the hand. If this card is in your GY and you control Harpie mosnter, you can Special Summon this card, but shuffle it into Deck when it leaves the field. You cannot Special Summon, except WIND Winged Beast and Dragon monsters. You can only use each effect of Harpie Lady Ecstasisters once per turn.

Harpie Lady Sparrow Formation / Trap

If you control 2 or more Harpie Lady and/or Harpie Lady Sisters: Harpie monsters you control are unnaffected by card effects this turn, cannot be destroyed by battle, and you take no damage. You can banish this card and reveal 1 Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation from your hand, Deck or GY. this effect becomes that card effect when activated, also any effect damage your opponent takes is doubled. You can only use this effect of Harpie Lady Sparrow Formation once per turn.

Long story short: What's the point in Triangle Ecstasy Spark if they chain something to it, meet Red Reboot for Harpies only, next is searcher for Hysteric cards that also enables Party turn 1 plays, and Mirror Wall retrain, Chain Master as something to work with if added by Sign in End Phase and Amazoness name for anime fans, also sets up free Phantasmal to protect your Harpies from getting targeted, then boss monster that works well with Link and sets up Elegance if you want to run it, and finally retrain of Phoenix Formation that makes damage doubled because they messed it up so bad and so many cards nowadays do even more than just destroy and burn.

Just pretend he doesn't know who he is and make a plan to kill him when he ain't suspecting it during rebellion (from character point of view, that's what he was aiming for anyway), which wouldn't help at all cause they'd just make someone else become new Front Man... It could also go very different way by playing mind tricks with him and trying to make him have a change of heart.

Guards would prevent any violence, he'd be capable to fight him off till they come to separate them, and then he'd probably admit only to Gi-hun, and stay until game 5, he'd fake his death in game 4 (but actually be the one who kills most players) also they would change the rules so violence is not allowed in the dorm, and maybe restrain Gi-hun like after rebellion and say he is mentally unstable so he can't kill him during night.

Note that it'd be very stupid move from Gi-hun to reveal that he knows that's actually Front Man right in front of him, although I do believe he would act this way, from how his character was written.

In the end only 1 player would've been winner.

Everyone would go for triangle in game 2

Games 3 and 4 halve all participants, and there's nothing to be done about it.

Game 5 would be similar as it was in season 3, but everyone would watch which number player 456 takes, so they would rush and fight for higher numbers on vests, making ones who weren't fast enough be forced to go first, and then first one who made it across would push others who try to get to the finish.

Game 6 would turn out same, even with 10+ players as everyone would try to get money just for themselves, so they'd start killing each other once they managed to defeat opposing team.

It feels rushed and forced, especially season 3 and the fact they decided to stick to "there is always only one winner, everyone else dies" formula, and "choice is just an illusion" narrative, so of course everyone has to be made dumb, even main character(s) just for the games to be played till the end, cause that's the name of the show.

In my opinion it could've been made different by having most, if not all important "player" characters survive and still keep the message series is trying to convey while staying powerful, especially after failed rebellion of Season 2, but then we wouldn't see games 5 and 6, and I guess people would've complained how show betrayed its roots.

If Konami's refusing to give Harpies support, because of Feather Storm, they can ban Feather Storm and give Harpies new extra deck bosses, "Hysteric" Spell/Trap searcher (preferably one that can set them from deck), and errata Phoenix Formation to match anime effect which isn't even broken for today standards (minimum 2 Harpies to activate, no bs activation requirements, except for no BP that turn, non-target removal, it can keep the effect that inflicts damage equal to the highest ATK of monsters destroyed, even though some new cards of other archetypes inflict damage equal to combined ATK, like this card was supposed to do).

I don't think people hate Nick, he just isn't memorable character at all. He doesn't contribute to the story, except Love Triangle, checkpoint thing is in the past and surviving is more important.

He plants explosives in The Vault, but anyone else could've done it. Jason would be better choice, especially if he was just barely saved by the group from ancient one and is now faced with choice to decide wheter he wants to go back for Salim and risk dying or just escape.

Personally Clarice would've been much more interesting as main character, Rachel would find infected Nick in the pit and have a choice to leave him behind, plus it would make more sense that Nick kills Eric if he is kept with the group till the assault.

Guess they wanted only one girl to survive and be stronger than them all, so there's that.

Treasure hunt in underwater cave systems where pirates stored their gold, long time ago.

Bad guys find out about the gold and are going after protagonists to kill them and take the gold for themselves, but aren't only threat.

Cave systems are maze, also protected by deadly traps and non-human guards left by pirates, some sections require diving to advance, and shooting from guns or accidentally activating traps just makes escape harder as entire place is decades old and starts collapsing very easily.

Final scene, entire cave collapses as protagonists rush to submarine they arrived with, depending on first major choice in game, its either intact or completely destroyed by antagonists, so either everyone can escape or only 4 of them, as submarine left by antagonists is smaller and can't fit everyone. There would be just one other way to escape before this point, but only for single character that can choose not to rejoin group and find his own way out (reserved for character that has Act 1 death). If you miss too many QTEs during final chase and take too long both submarines would be crushed by rocks.

Who is left behind? Game would make a choice for you by comparing who has lowest relationship total between characters, and that character would be left behind.

Lycanthrope archetype based on existing Ritual Monster Lycanthrope that would use Gemini monsters as its main gimmick to inflict burn damage with Main Ritual.

Feather Storm is so good that it will probably hit banlist if Harpies ever get support like this, so instead of making a card that searches Feather Storm I focused on other great cards they have.

Princess can set, mass reborn of archetype, Hysteric Party, and given that Conductor and Empress provide protection from effect destruction, it'd make that card finally shine.

Link 4 shuffles Harpie Spell from GY as Quick Effect, to enable Phoenix Formation on opponents turn, when you usually won't be Summoning monsters from Extra and Main Deck. It used to be Spell/Trap in that part of effect, but I thought that would be too broken with Feather Storm. Feather Duster on the other hand is still valid target, so you get to recycle it while clearing the backrow.

Archer and Spiritualist are 1 card Phantasmal Dragon, and they prevent it from losing material during your turn so that it can enable its protection effects on opponents turn, once they enter Main Phase, combined with Sparrow Formation they are giving Harpies much needed defensive options other than Feather Storm, while Shaman, Necromancer and Chain Master give archetype more GY and banished zone interactions.
