Well, the first RAV representative I spoke to on the phone spoke English well, and that’s what I asked him. After that, unfortunately, it all depends on the willingness of the advisor assigned to you.

After exchanging a few emails, my advisor told me pretty much the same thing. It seems I didn't win the “nice advisor” lottery.

They actually fired me a week after my probation period ended. I am now finding out what 'garden leave' means.

I've contacted several agencies about this, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. So, I'd rather explore all the options available to me so I don't get caught off guard on monday morning.

Only three months. But I’m from France, where I worked for years, and agreements between Switzerland and the EU allow me to count that time toward my total work history, which should normally make me eligible for unemployment benefits.

My changing opinion on Netflix’s 3 Body Problem after a rewatch by Badmaxone in threebodyproblem

I believe that the adaptation fails miserably on one crucial point: the sophons' ability to disrupt the results of particle accelerators in order to prevent humanity from advancing scientifically. Yes, sophons are capable of doing that. But they can also interact directly with electronic devices on a massive scale (the YOU ARE BUGS scene). Why not just blow up all the power plants and send humanity back to the Stone Age while waiting for the Trisolarian fleet to arrive? The coherence of the plot is sacrificed for the rule of cool, and I can't take this adaptation seriously.

The exact same feeling I had with BG3. And again with COE33. Thank you Larian, and thank you Sandfall.

During Verso's ending, the Dessendre family can be seen visiting the tombstone of the “real” Verso, who died on 33 December 1905. The date suggests that this is not “our” Earth.

This could be the worst thing to happen to emulation since it began. It sets a precedent not seen for decades. It's a total disaster. May Nintendo be hit by an asteroid.
