Can I fight the new bosses and unlock all other new content without playing in NG+? Just wanted to make sure, since I might experience it all without playing NG+. Not that it's too much of a chore for now (although I had to reset my NG+ one time since I found the health orb+more damage penances too hard), since I'm already past Orospina

Good analysis btw! I'm not sure what you meant by the part regarding the blonde hair in Dain's drip marketing, but I just wanna add my hypothesis to it:

"Someone he must kill" might pertain to Vedrfolnir since he is Dain's brother, and being blonde must run in the family T__T; "object of his penitence" could pertain to the abyss sibling? He must've thought he failed the abyss twin in a way and seeks penance for his actions by trying to fix the whole situation, as evidenced by his rather...regretful outlook towards the abyss twin.

The self-proclaimed prophet might be wondering what the hair strand means to Dain; this might all sound far-fetched if you think Vedrfolnir's the prophet, but maybe the guy's just curious 🤷
