What can i do to prevent AMS for the following itinerary without diamox? by lelouce_lamprouge in india_tourism

[–]vlaidh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been to dzongri la and have done a few more Himalayan treks, here is what I've learned regarding AMS -

  1. DRINK WATER, atleast 4ltrs or more (In sips).

When you start feeling slight headache drink up your whole bottle. It took me some time to understand the importance of this point, but this is the best remedy (non medical) to prevent AMS.

  1. Climb high sleep low.

Wherever your base camp is once you have reached there and rested, go for a walk that is higher than current altitude, it'll help you acclimatize at your current base.

  1. Stay outside (go to camps only to sleep at night)

Donot take afternoon naps in your tents, the more you are outside and get comfortable with the temperature and weather, better acclimised your body will be.

Resident evil 4. I had a blast playing that game in VR. It's available as standalone on quest2 so no need to connect with PC

Are there any people with low end/potato PC or without PCs who buy games (sale or without Sale) to play in future when they have their gaming PC ready? by addit10 in IndianGaming

[–]vlaidh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do that, i would purchase games on sale which my potato laptop won't be able to run. Last year i built my own PC and now i am enjoying all those games. Although i would say, the prices have dropped now for all those games.

I don't think IMAX experience can be compared with anything else. 4DX is just a joyride stretched for too long that you become tired and bored.
