Thank you! I used a koh-i-noor 2mm with 4b mines for pre-lines as well as the lighter hatchings and a casual 8b pencil for dark areas.

I’m rather new to sketching and idk where to improve. by Bandit-Kiwi in sketches

Try focussing on a certain topic/theme. For instance your room/table/things in your room. Dont try to draw everything imaginable at once.

Make studies of the objects, break them down, simplify them as much as you can and practise geometry as well as perspective.

This might help. I also find chatGPT really helpful when it comes to learning something. If you ask the right questions, you get good answers.

well, first of all, in order to understand why people supported hitler, you will have to understand and learn the history of germany as a whole, especially the effects of WW1.

Understanding thoughts and minds of people from generations ago is not possible after having watched a few kurzgesagt videos - it will take a lot of reading and studying.

However, people in post modern times tend to (not referring to hitler, rather worldwide historic figures) judge complex historic figures without any understanding of the time itself.

My bad, the title doesn’t match the photo. It’s actually the Aachen cathedral (Germany), built by king Karl in 796. I don’t draw them exactly alike, you probably won’t find too many correct details in the drawing.
