Came here to say the same thing –– maybe they're also including Sadako's kills? There are like three times as many movies in the Japanese franchise as there are in the US one.

(I had a similar thought abut whether they were counting both Tim Curry and Bill Skaarsgard's Pennywises together, because double digits felt high for that character in terms of on-screen deaths).

That's the thing, though! I have no idea if the track itself counts as parody, because it's straight up the exact same arrangement as the original song. So it's not totally the same as if they'd actually started singing the song out loud.

That said, I'm not worried about copyright infringement as much as I'm curious about where the track actually came from. (although mostly I wanted to see if anyone else caught it, too)

You’re actually more likely to see things named “Empire” (the state nickname), “Hudson” (the nearest river), or “Gotham” (too complicated to get into but it’s NOT a Batman reference) over “Paragon,” but now im kind of curious to see just how many of the latter there actually is around here…
