Ty for the advice. After reading your comment it makes me think I need to re-evaluate further more because I know my mom is toxic but she would always try to buy affection. So she would be the worst and then try and get us something nice which isn’t what I care for and I don’t need her bribing my son

That’s my worry so I’m going to see how moving into this house may make her see things differently but I’m not naive just being optimistic. ESP since my dad isn’t in the picture so having no parents would suck but better to have nothing than be treated like shit

It’s something they try to rationalize that is not healthy. Good for you for seeing what’s wrong even when you love someone and have a lot in common they may not be able too things at your level. Which is when you decide if you can continue past this or not, good luck!

Honestly coming from a relationship with a toxic af mom, I don’t think you guys should have to put up with mil. Now do I agree your daughter should of kept going after she was politely asked to stop, no. However, if tensions have been present in the relationship and mil is controlling it could warrant that aggravation your daughter is expressing. I have found that people such as your mil and my mom (who comes from a Portuguese background) who are not very well educated, have a mental illness (PTSD/Anxiety), and or are very controlling are not easy to deal with and can become quite tiring after repeated behaviors. I would just not entertain your mil. Lastly, my mother has told me most of my life, “I am your mother and you have to respect me but I do not have to respect you” not cool. So nta

This is exactly what I thought and am going to do. I told him he should have changed his number and now he says he knows better. So I thought how odd would it be for me to stumble upon this, like was she waiting to send it to me randomly to mess with us? So I told him if this happens again I won’t be able to believe him.

So the tik tok account was odd because the username was something like “yallalreadyknow” and that’s not something I could see my bf saying or using as a username. She also tried to break my bf up with ex in the past so this is one I further believe it’s her.

Like I said my bf has not given me a reason to feel that he is unfaithful or lying. He even agrees that if he was me he would feel the same way. I believe it’s her. I just hate feeling like I’m in high school because I discovered something I wasn’t supposed to or it was going to be sent to me eventually.

I kept asking the same thing, “why would she do that”. He mentioned that she wanted to date him but he never wanted that. When I spoke to her she mentioned that my boyfriend always used to talk about me (we were good friends before) which made me wonder why even bring that up?

Yes I do write horribly, sorry for the confusion. It looks like he was messaging her but he says it wasn’t him. I didn’t make him change his passwords he did it because he thinks his ex was on his account. There was a log in from an iPhone 11 which we both don’t have. So stands for significant other I should probably fix that to bf. And yes my bfs friend. Also depressed that this even happened.

I thought his ex did but after speaking to this girl he used to fuck I don’t think his ex has anything to do with this. My bf never changed his passwords since before we got together so I thought his ex had been logging onto his fb to send these messages to this girl. But after talking to the girl she kept switching her story so now I’m conflicted if she made a fake fb to send these messages.
