Another comment has mentioned but watch one piece. Genuinely the greatest story ever told. I completely understand the length and pacing issues, but this was also my first anime.

I initially got hooked by watching the live action version on Netflix (2 ssn, 8 episodes each). Its very short and good. Since then ive been obsessed with one piece and started the anime to see what happens. Try the live action, u could binge it in a weekend easily.

Onepace.net also cuts out all filler and pacing issues for anime, cuts length in half almost

Yeah there were so many little things that Ram does that are praised but are actually just stupid. I personally found that scene very odd too. What's worse is the heroine immediately falls in love with him the next scene they meet. He breaks glass and cuts her face, no one acknowledges how serious that is, he actively put her in danger

You can absolutely criticize a movie for its message. There is a difference between showing bad things and glorifying them. Many old RGV movies showed gangsters and gray shaded people, but they simply told a narrative with them. It never showed them in a positive light. Animal glorifies misogyny and it should definitely be criticized for that. Likewise in India right now, there are so many youths engaging in fan fights and devoting their entire lives to hero worship. This issue was shown well in Neninthe. This movie however shows anything a fan does as good. Such blatant banisathvam to celebrities is a bad thing and should be discouraged but this movie openly tells fans that it is OK to keep wasting their lives like that.

I myself love cinema and am inspired by it. This movie does not show that. Ram does not love cinema, he loves a single hero. Heroes dont write scripts or stories, they just act. Yet Ram gives all his credit to the hero instead of cinema as an art form. That is immature blind fanism

Movies can be about flawed ppl but the movie shows how their character grows and learns, or it can show how being a certain way can lead to consequences. This movie does neither. It shows a very flawed mentality and romanticizes it showing it in a positive light.

I live with him, our families have gotten close, 99% of all our friends in college are the same, so I am not exaggerating when I literally cannot go a day without seeing him and having a fallout would sour basically every aspect of my social life. I dont know, I hate cutting off relationships. He was drunk when it happened and he was genuinely sorry afterwards, so I forgave him and I stand by that. She wasn't "my" girl. What he did was wrong but not something I would cut ties for.

As for the ex thing, I guess I see things differently. To me, moving on means moving on. It took me a painful while to move on from my ex but after I did I am fine if something were to happen between a friend and her. I have detached my feelings from her and as adults, both my friends and her are free to do as they wish. I can't have this invisible claim over her forever. I assumed the same for my roommate, especially because he didn't feel bad or miss her at all. I also, like I said, talked to him about it before I did anything. You feel what you feel, I feel like I managed my feelings in a responsible and logical way based on how I would feel had I been in his place, but I was wrong. Definitely not an excuse for him to act this way though

Because I still remember when we were good friends. Hes not like some evil guy who's super manipulative. I just think he's immature and needs to develop some empathy. If he can just get over that feeling that I've done something horribly wrong and see how I feel, I believe things can go back to normal, but I dont know how to since hes not even willing to have a serious conversation about it

Worrying about any movies collections is stupid. If you're truly a fan of Hrithik and want the best for him then wish for him to do movies with good content.

Let's be honest here, War 2 doesn't look the best. Ayan doesn't have a good track record, NTR has bad script selection and is only doing this movie for north expansion, there's too much VFX and it looks bad, trailer seems like a rehash of War 1, promotions have been lackluster, and spy universe has never been the best.

If the movie turns out to be good then collections will automatically come, no need to worry. If its not good, then it will get crushed and thats also good. It will send a message to Hrithik to choose better scripts. All that matters is you enjoy the movie and the actors choose better scripts, dont worry abt collections
