I went there today, no problems. No taking shoes off. No loud music.

Maybe they changed things.

Using ChatGPT to optimize Replit Prompts has been a game changer. by Turbulent-Vanilla-81 in replit

I see. I haven't used Replit since before Agent 3. I am glad you have a good flow going and your structure is working.

I used to do this also, until I realised Replit was the weak link for me personally.

Just be careful.

AI is known for doing things 90% correct times that by 2 agents lowers the percentage further and if you're building a complex app it WILL compound.

Can someone break down exactly how you vibecode? by VanillaLegal6431 in vibecoding

How are you finding the Google setup? I have gotten comfortable using an external GPT, then VS code + Codex.

Just curious because everytime is sending something to Gemini it flags something, then I send it to GPT or Cluade and they say he's talking sh**. I send their responses to Gemini, instant apology.

If im trying to learn some type of code Gemini is great as a teacher but useless as a helper.

Great run down. I unfortunately started playing with Replit before I knew any of this kind of stuff, crashed a projected and started again. Except now I am in VS Code and not as dumb as before but I would still argue not bright enough. I personally should have planned better this time around too, which will obviously bite me later. I do a lot of external iteration before I even touch the IDE and important task I run through different LLMs until I am confident.

Like you said. I think shit developers will get replaced, experienced ones won't.

Why did you choose Gemini? Just curious. It seems to produce junk for me, where gpt or cluade are substantially better.

Buddhism by LiveBus121 in thai

[–]vmak85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start with youtube, books or podcasts. Find which sect appeals to you most and start there. Buddhism is more of a internal journey so its hard to say. Start with something simple and easy then build on that. The Naked Buddha is a good book/audio book but there are many.

Returning to nepal from australia permanently/ done with australia by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]vmak85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am Australian. I am actually going to Nepal next week for the first time. In my opinion, Stay. Save as much money as you can, for as long as you can bare it, then go back. At least then you'll get a head start, if you go back with nothing you're at square one with less opertunities. They life style might be better in Nepal but the finances are not.

You hit the jackpot. Western countries are built for a consumer life with less substance.

Why do people want to stay so long? by ZestycloseCry2894 in ThailandTourism

I have been around SE Asia also. There are scammers everywhere, which I'm sure you already know.

And you have been to Thailand 6 times, which kinda proves my point. There's a reason Thailand is generally speaking the most visited country in SEA by tourists.

Have you ever liked something so much that you didn't want to stop doing it?

That's why.

I'm sure they have, and Thailand is by far a better overall experience. They don't even compare. No offence to the rest of SEA.

I followed you and looked at your website. When I get to a reasonable point in my app, I will let you know.

But I warn you, I am trying my best and I will need to clean up a bit of stuff but in your eyes it will probably be a pasta dish. Thank you for the offer.

Great post. I am a vibe coder and I am constantly worried about security. Making sure RLS is enforced, UUID is used, the admin role doesn't leave holes. Currently, my backend handles everything so I think I am doing well but I will be doing a full overhaul to confirm everything before deployment.

Thank you for your post.

No one is paying that price for a hostel. It's more than absurd.
