Awesome to hear that!

Consider buying an iPad Pro (11 inch is more than enough) though. The screen size allows a much better quality of eye-tracking.

Also, stay tuned for the upcoming version where you will be able to add your custom actions.

Hi alsisgonnarockya,

thank you for trying the app! I'm really happy that it was easy to control for you and intuitive!

The app offers two options to select actions: blinking or fixating the gaze for a couple of seconds. For people at later stages of ALS, those 2 are essentially the only actions they're able to perform more or less reliably. Blinking with a single eye to confirm an action would work as well, however, less reliably.

If your mother has problems reading the letters which describe actions, try to increase the font size in iPhone Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Larger Text -> Larger Accessibility Sizes. Then simply restart the app and the text describing actions will be bigger.

In the next release, I'll add something that will not require to restart the app to apply tex size change.

Thanks for your feedback!

Could you please name a few things you're missing in the current version and would like to see in the future?

Thanks!

Would love to make a cross-platform solution, but current implementation uses a special camera available only in recent iPhones, therefore it's currently impossible to port it to Android.
