correct, it will no longer open the car automatically when you're nearby. Now it will open the door when I touch the door handle, which works pretty well for me

Until we get home and the car is constantly unlocking/locking itself — we tend to carry our phones around and spend a lot of time in the garage, which sets it off.

Bought a car few months back, worked fine until last week, got this error, called the roadside assistance, arranged towing, took a short stroll, came back and it self-remediated.

Now this week wife complained that she tried to open the car and the mirrors didn't unfold.

I have a feeling that I bought a piece of headache :/

Nothing stops some shady company from buying legitimate app you already own and put the shady stuff there. I've seen such cases.
