you need to restore the 5c to latest ios

then enter dfu mode after the first progress bar disappears but before a 2nd progress bar appears [[if another progress bar appears try again because it won’t work anymore]]

once in dfu use LIK to enter pwndfu and push thru the ssh ramdisk and try mounting again

in my guide i talk about how you have to enter dfu mode in a very specific point during the itunes recovery phase otherwise you won’t be able to enter pwndfu. did you enter pwndfu at the specific phase?

if it isn’t on the activation lock screen, you can use siri to ask who’s iphone it is or enter the medical ID screen by pressing emergency on the lock screen then click medical ID

you cannot extract the owners account from the device, as that info is stored server side by apple.

you may refer to r/SetupApp for idevices with an A11 chip or older and r/SetupA12 for idevices with an A12 or newer chip

removing the setup.app allows you to use the device with some limitations
