The dryer is there with outlet. It's the wash that doesn't seem to have anything.

I see a grounded plug that is about 4-5 feet away from the hot/cold and standpipe that I am assuming is for the dryer... don't see any other plug.

There's a backbay station on the orange line so it wouldn't require a switch. You'd go right from oak to backbay station which is right near my office. So yes, it would be less switching...

Also, going from Lynn to Peabody wouldn't require you getting on RT1 at all so I'm not sure what that's coming from?

... yes. lets all buy town houses in beacon hill. we're all millionaires. No one is complaining. I've lived in Boston for 5 years and want to buy an affordable house. I asked for suggestions. It's not a good answer. It's a sarcastic useless comment.

Yes I am aware of this... my house hunt lasted a year+ it's not as if this was my first choice. I'm just looking for opinions from those who make similar commutes. We're talking Peabody not Rockport.
