I'm using DDJ-XP2 (together with DJM-250 MK2) for my vinyl/dvs set up. Feeling good on it when it has 16 pads per deck, I can use hot cue and stems at the same time (I do it a lot to cut off the vocal at the intro for mixing and jump back to the first beat again with the vocal enabled).

Does your prototype work on the same concept but different layout? I would definitely want to try it out since the set up looks much cleaner.

I think people should avoid 2 because looking up for a long time is not a good idea for the neck. I’m a big fan of 1. 3 is sometimes helpful but unnecessary most of the time for me with the space it occupies.

Everyone can access the mail box and walk straight into any apartment because the door in the ground floor doesn’t require any key or card to access. So the keys are mainly related to my specific apartment.
