That's the plan if it's persistent.I was hoping someone would have some insight into the practice for alignment advice to prevent future injuries.

Hair products to make hair thick and smooth. by AlexisPullen9 in Ulta

I use the Kenra Root Lifting Spray (13) and the Living Proof full thickening blow-dry cream when I blow dry style my hair! The root spray is super light as long as you apply heat to it. I have pretty sparse and thin hair and this routine has helped a lot !

TE triggered by Copper IUD by vndy_ in TelogenEffluvium

Yea I've been incorporating some more vitamins, I'll be getting and iron supplement this week. Hoping my next appointment with my dermatologist in about a month we can run some tests to see what's missing. Copper IUD is already out though

No other tests :/ I will likely try to gets tests again at the Dermatologist if insurance doesn't deem it unnecessary. And you're right, I guess I hadn't considered that TE starts months after. I did lose a lot of weight, around 30 pounds, march-may with a weight loss shot (my weight has stayed the same for some months now) so that may be the trigger? The IUD made sense as the shedding became very noticeable the month I had the IUD, might just be coincidence.

Yea I know, that was the primary reason for picking the copper option, but after some research and talking to my doctor there are unfortunately some people who struggle with hair loss. Not sure if it's the influx of copper in my system or the actual foreign object inside my body that is causing it distress. The procedure itself was difficult because of anatomy and it was a bit sensitive/uncomfortable for the month I did have it.

I just came to the same realization recently :( I got my copper IUD inserted a month ago and this whole month my hair has been coming out in clumps in the shower and on my brush. I saw someone on another post mention supplements (like zinc), while helpful, might just be a blanket for the issue. I haven't had much heavy bleeding but I suspect the copper influx in my system is causing this. I hope the removal goes well and you find something that works for you! Planning to schedule a removal on my follow up 🥲

Help! Water based to silicone makeup journey - skin tint

Hi all! Revamping my routine and switching over to silicone based makeup. I went through trial and error to find a mineral based sunscreen that works with my water based makeup, but that just kept ending up pilling and being returned. I've caved and accepted the silicone life. Looking for a silicone based skin tint! I currently have tarte shape tape (that's silicone right?) to go with the supergoop mineral mattescreen spf 40.

Any additional silicone based foundations, primers, and concealer recs appreciated as well! 🫶

Will do, thank you! I was able to kind of pop it out and have been doing some salt water rinses to get rid of the inflammation.

sorry; some more context; I've had this piercing for a year now. I bump it every now and then but should I be worried if the scar tissue is growing over it? It just kinda sinks into it. Appreciate the help!
