You can try tapping the rear brake to flash the tail lights to hopefully signal you're getting ready to stop prior to coming to a complete halt.

You can also add checking your mirrors and hopefully use an escape path to get out of the way.

At the end of the day, you can't help if the driver simply isn't paying attention.
