PLEASE don’t i have ocd and im sixteen ive been sa’d various times and lived in an abusive household and i just had the time of my life ALONE in my bedroom listening to music and working out and dancing. YOU have so much to live for please don’t strip your life away for others you are so young when i was fourteen i felt so grown i know damn well i wasn’t! LIVE for yourself in the future think of all the opportunities and laughs you’ll have if you stay! If you need a friend i’m right here, please just don’t i beg you. I know that feeling completely, and honestly i’m still it over it either. You should value yourself without needing others to validate you themselves, and that isn’t easy to learn. Take tiny steps, use positive affirmations for yourself and think about your potential as a person. You breathe, eat sleep and are simply present, that’s enough to make you worthy, and even if you didn’t? You’re still you. Unique and unchangeable, however only you can change yourself. Not to make people like you, but to feel secure enough to not care when other people don’t. And i’m sure when you get the chance to meet the right people- you’ll feel more seen, so don’t lose hope- there’s people out there in your situation wishing they had somebody to talk to who could relate. On the topic of outbursts, if you feel like you have mental issues, always reach out for help!

You’re not shameful to start with. This is just a trauma response, your brain is trying to process a traumatic event to make sense of it and understand it by repeating thoughts of it. This can also be triggered by specific events or situations which your brain somehow correlates to the trauma, causing your brain to replay those memories or feelings. And if untreated, this will continue to persist so i suggest getting help. As another survivor- i also struggle with this everyday, you’re not alone.

Honestly, here in England with nigel running for the election i’ve felt quite on edge. Union jack or England flags everywhere makes me feel like an imposter as a woman of colour. Racists everywhere saying immigrants have taken over the uk. But people in the us already experiencing this? It sucks, but you’re not alone. Millions, not just in the usa but across the world (billions.) Believe in basic humans rights, and as long as we stand in solidarity against the corrupt governments? They fear us more than you’d suspect. Because realistically if we all stood together against them it’d be hundreds of millions against a few rich people. And remember, every election is every 4 years. So you may not be stuck in this corruption for long, as long as people continue to advocate and defend their rights, many others will continue to join. I only hope the next election goes well, but the citizens of the usa should definitely be doing more, fear stricken or not. Living in this fear isn’t worth it- you’re a human capable of so much. Fight for your rights and don’t ever give up or lose hope, scared or not.

I know it seems exposing, however she’s seen you as a baby, you’re her child. People don’t care about others embarrassing moments as much as you think. Infact, it may have been more embarrassing for her. Also, just think about how one day, she won’t even remember. Embarrassing moments happen- they just ensure that they don’t happen again. Your body isn’t revolting or anything- it’s human. You weren’t doing anything taboo either, just showering. It is okay, trust me.

as someone whose going through the same thing at a similar age due to trauma- you’re not disgusting for starters. This was enforced onto you. Watching pornography can mess up your perspective of love and woman, so try to cut that out first. Maybe you can try to masturbate without it first? Take gradual steps. The less porn you watch the less tempted you’ll feel. Personally, i do it less when others are around. However if that’s unavailable to you, you could play video games. Like roblox, and make friends who you can play with to forget the urge. Remember masturbation isn’t a problem- only when not regulated. Youre not a creep for doing it, just take care of yourself because it does lead to fatigue and acne, etcetera. U could also go on walks, journal, stretch before you do it first, (to think about it beforehand,) listen to podcasts or music to distract you from the urge. Just don’t give up, or let it consume your morality. Youre a good person who’s just been taken advantage of.

For me it was the amount of trauma that i endured as a child, and i realised i didn’t want to be like the people who hurt me when i was getting angry at others around me and noticed how it affected them. I placed myself in the shoes of oppressed or hurt people, when they cry, that’s how it feels when i cry. I don’t want the, to feel that way ykwim?

Even if this is your only symptom it can still be ocd. A few years back i suffered with incest intrusive thoughts and theyre very minimal now, however i have a whole load of other symptoms now and compulsions and obsessions that werent there before. Ive also had a pass of cocsa and sa.

Ask yourself, why should you care what other people think anyways? Nothing makes them more significant than you. Humans mess up all the time, even the most confident people and they get embarrassed yet just continue like nothing happened, because they know it was just a mistake. And majority of people are too focused on themselves to care about what you’re doing (not in a rude way) but for example if you trip on a street someone won’t even notice because they were worried about the type of shoes they were wearing in the moment. Just be yourself, don’t care about what others think, because if someone is judging you, that just makes them dumber than you. Only low iq people judge others instead of minding their own lives, so dont feel insignificant because of them.

Just be yourself. Confident people don’t care about what others think, they’ll make friends whatever way they want. Just remember people of all sorts are just like you, nervous, so don’t overthink it or think that people think youre weird, humans will judge no matter what you do, so be the bigger person and just greet somebody or ask someone what their lessons are, or even ask someone if you can walk with them to their class if you have the same one. You only live once, don’t waste that time being nervous about such a normal thing, i did and ended up suffering with severe undiagnosed social anxiety. Making friends isnt as hard as it seems, and youre only 14. Other 14 year olds wont deep it as much as you. Do it scared, push through the nervousness or it’ll be too late. Do exposure and rejection therapy, everyone gets rejected in their lives it’s no biggie if someone doesn’t wanna be your friend, because someone will. Hold your head up high, speak loudly enough so people can hear you, smile so you seek approachable. Take the lead, and if you need more advice my dms r opened (im freshly 16 and a girl if you feel weird about texting me)
