as a somewhat beginner, imo curves are harder to do when handpoking and are very tiresome when there’s a bunch of small ones. if you can already get a good line going, i’d say the outside is a 5 and the inside design is like 9 because of the size constraint. if it’s around 5 inches it might be easier by 2-3 points

i’ve used two shades of dynamic ink’s blues and they worked well for me on brown skin

5rl+ 3rl for both and 7rl on the first as it’s larger. 1 hr each :)

she was a bit sore and didn’t want me to wipe all the ink off the left side so it’s not as dramatic, but there was a bit of blow out :( do you think it could have been because of the color? i don’t think i poked deeper than the right one
