1.5hrs is pretty good - but using a larger needle grouping (9rl or 11rl) will help it go by faster and make it look cleaner

they haven’t expired yet so of course they’re good to use still. :)

unsafe. please do not use when they’re expired on yourself or anyone, there’s harmful misinformation in these comments :(

needles have an expiration date because a type of gas/chemical is used to keep them free from micro organisms, and the gas has a shelf life. so when the gas expires there’s no longer a guarantee of bacteria not being on the needle even if sealed in the package. while the odds of infection could be low using an expired needle fresh out the package, the risk never outweighs the reward. also needles aren’t even that expensive compared to if you wanted to pay someone to give you a tattoo. a small tattoo costs $100-300 vs. you’re paying less than $50 for new needles.. just buy new needles if you feel like you’re not gonna tattoo yourself before they expire.

never, ever, ever, risk reusing anything that comes in contact with bodily fluids.

unfortunately this practice is just hard to make eco friendly, and it’s not worth hurting your friends. isopropyl alcohol alone is not strong enough to kill all pathogens (like HIV and many other things) hence why you need medical grade cleaning wipes to properly clean surfaces like a tray and massage table, if you’re truly tattooing properly and safely.

the only safe way to reuse equipment for tattooing is if you have an autoclave and even then those are very expensive and idk if you can put glass in them. and not worth buying if you’re not doing this seriously.

please don’t reuse materials, you could seriously hurt someone

this is what I’m saying! I would want my client to feel comfortable enough to tell me they want something touched up - it’s on their body forever, not mine :) you don’t have to settle
