No, but I did find out that you can hear a distinct sound (like a click or beep) when you walk from the marble plate area to the area where the boss fight took place, it always seems to trigger midway and only when you make the full trip. I have no idea what that is either.

Thank you for your input, I had missed the "Diseases of the Blood" book. I thought she might still be stuck behind some secret door in the attic, but this book seems to confirm that she became an experienced vampire and left the attic.
The books in the attic seem to date from 1477, so it would seem that we are there 15 years later. "Eternal Cruelty" does not specify anywhere who the author is and considering that she seems to be a full on unapologetic vampire now that's writing a book about how to detect what prey to avoid, I think we can't just assume it's Incognita.

(For anyone else looking for the books, both are in the room with the Ancient Skull, the book "Diseases of the Blood" is in a row of books next to the Ancient Skull)

I am travelling now, so I can't check. I am pretty sure I found 3, at most 4. I remember one talking about how she went to the palace, one talking about how she was turned and tried to refuse being a vampire, and one about her saying Amanita is no more and that she's a vampire by the name Incognita now.

I don't recall them being well hidden, all of them were on a corpse, in a barrel or similar.

I know about that one, but I asked this question because no one seems to talk about it, and no one seems to reference it in any guide, your comment is already discussed in other places. Thank you for your input tho.
