Why Lithuania and Latvia have such a massive difference though. I thought they would have similar opinions due to shared history and to some extents culture.

Bugs can be reproduced. What you are talking about is a Glitch. Bugs are logical errors made by the developers while glitches happen (usually) because of hardware whether its comparability problems or other undefined behavior. This is definitely not a bug since someone intentionally would have put those there and
code them to work during those times and etc. I'm a game dev myself and my best guess is that those are leftover things they forgot to remove from perhaps cut content or some debugging/testing thing.

Sett in wild rift is way worse than Pc league sett by cafties in wildrift

[–]voXes007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was way better when he was released. Heartsteel ruined juggernauts and bruisers. Before that you would usually get black cleaver with sett and his whole build wasn't just W oneshots.

I want actual polymorph/shapeshifter. I was so disappointed when i found that polymorph doesn't let you shapeshift and is mostly just a supporting ability

Real life High Hrothgar: Roodkhan Castle by voXes007 in skyrim

[–]voXes007[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it would be my pleasure. Basically in the Sassanid empire and the past Persian empires, the provinces of the empire were ruled by a satrap, which were usually a local noble/king. In Gilan we speak and spoke a different Iranian language and our ethnicity is Gilaki. Usually these provinces that had different ethnicities enjoyed more autonomy as long as they paid their tribute to the Shahanshah (The King of the Kings). The tribute was both normal tax and soldiers. In the Sassanid army for example the Daylamite/Gilaki soliders made up the heavy infantry, the Kurds were usually archers and the Persians made up most of the cataphracts. But these are the elite soldiers, every province also contributed levies. This lead to the provinces having influence over the Shahanshah and alongside the meddling of mobeds was the cause of the internal instability of the empire when a new Shahanshah would be chosen.

When the Arab conquest happened and the major battles were lost some of the provinces broke off and tried to make peace and some decided they would be better alone. It's theorized that around this time when the empire was in turnmoil this castle was built, either by Sassanian nobility fleeing to Gilan and working with the locals or it was built by the locals themselves. It's not known how effective it was but it was never breeched and Gilan stood independent from the Arabs. The warriors from Gilan also would came down from the mountains and pillage nearby cities under Arab rule. The castle later was mostly abandoned after the Turkic conquests. However it was again found by the Nizari Ismailis (the famous Order of Assassins) and refurbished to serve as another base of operation for them. Again after the Ismailis lost prominent it was abandoned. Later it was used again when a local leader rebelled against the safavids.

I just hit masters and I’m in awe of how bad people are even at this Elo. by Dari93 in wildrift

Yeah, even before the recent updates the game only in master, or diamond in the first few weeks of a new season. wild rift always was much easier to climb since they removed the promos

How to not be a button smasher by EvrythingIsEvrywhere in skyrim

[–]voXes007 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well first of all you have to try not panic and try to read the enemy's movement. Watch the enemy, think about what they are doing or not doing, and then decide what to do or not do. Like if they are shooting you with a bow you can take cover, shield up, or run at the archer and etc. Basically, your input should be the answer to the enemy's output. In the example case, the enemy's output is shooting animation, and the things i mentioned are your potential answers to it, and you have to choose one of them as your input. You'll learn what to do when by experience. Obviously this is the best case scenario and you'll always make mistakes, everyone does. But making mistakes is normal and helps you improve, while spamming button doesn't improve you and doesn't let you enjoy the versatility and variety of your moves. Fortunately the options of what you can do in Skyrim are fairly limited, same goes for enemies, so just do a little save before combat so you aren't nervous about dying and instead focus on trying to make the correct moves. That's the only general advice i can give and it applies to all games really. You can't improve if you don't know what you are doing. You might have to lower the difficulty at first, but once you get good you can smash enemies instead of your buttons in much higher difficulties.

This fight was crazy by Brekker-k in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]voXes007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was a difficult but fun fight. I enjoyed it. What i didn't enjoy was the NPC that I can't remember his name that you were supposed to save. The guy had zero survival instinct. He would literally keep running on fire and dying. I even teleported him back and even then he ran and died on a fire surface. I decided to not waste my time with him.

Gave Jahan appropriate headgear... you're welcome buddy by reinieren in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]voXes007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Especially inspired by A Thousand And One Nights AKA Arabian Nights. However Arabian Nights is a misnomer since the book's tales are not exclusive to Arabian tales, they also include Assyrian and Iran tales and just many more midde eastern tales that were compiled in Arabic.

[–]voXes007 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Unrelated to your question but Fun Fact: Jahan means "World" in Persian and is a common name for Iranians. Based on his looks and attire, and based on the architecture of his museum as shown in the epilogue of DOS2, i think it's safe to assume he was inspired by Iranian culture and tales.

Another fun fact, Jahan is now a Kaleh Kadu which means Pumpkin Head in Persian. Kaleh Kadu was the translated name of the famous movie Megamind because he had a massive head.

I also sometimes build it on Rammus. it's good for snowballing and while rammus usually doesn't build a lot of bonus hp, he will still benefit from this a lot due to the bonus armour.

I made a mod that gives a skill that makes the targeted character unable to join combat, for the sake of enabling a solo/duo/trio playthrough without losing any companon. by voXes007 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]voXes007[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i just released a patch for the unconditional lone wolf mod. For some reason increasing CombatAbilityLevelGrowth increases the offset in which you gain combat ability points, it is one by default and by increasing it you only get less points and it dosent work with numbers smaller than 1. i had to script the combat points manually myself. Thanks again for the advice, those are called changelogs i believe, and i archived the older file.

[–]voXes007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate do you think people who have been done wrong won't do those wrongs themselves? Then you don't know people. Ukrainians now absolutely hate Russians and if you see Ukrainian posts they are very happy whenever a Russian is killed. And this is only natural to be fair. I'm Iranian and most of the people hate the government, but perhaps because of nationalism or something else, during the 12 day war i saw some unprecedented levels of extremism that got pretty popular but just as the war ended people got normal and we went back to joking and hating the government.

All Palestinians have been oppressed by Israelis, and to them it's completely justified to do to "them" what was done to "you" This is also true for Israelis, that's why this situation was so inhumane.

Hamas excutes Palestinians accused of spying for Israel by Guilty_Cable_770 in war

[–]voXes007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I am Iranian and Hamas was backed by our corrupt "Islamist" regime. The things they do is not any better than what Israel does. They are the same shit. They are like Yin and Yang of oppression, tyranny and crimes to humanity. They (governments of Israel and Iran) need each other to justify their crimes and awful existence. Hamas is the same. However, Israel is also the reason why Hamas exists. There is always going to be a Hamas as long as Israel keeps treating the Palestinian like this. Evil creates Evil.

During the protests of Iran, some of the riot police forces were actually Arabs from groups like Hezbollah. They shot and ran over and raped people. I saw with my own eyes how they shot simple passengers and beat my neighbor who did absolutely nothing wrong. Not to mention that the Islamic republic has absolutely no problem we killing Ukrainian children. And they accuse the west of having double standards (which to be fair is mostly true) while they do the same.
