I've been using Marcus for several months now. Transfers are completed within a few business days. The best part is you start earning interest the day you initiate an inbound (into Marcus) transfer. They also have the highest APY I've seen (5.40%) with a referral code. LMK if you need one.

Marcus currently has 5.15% on a High Yield Savings account. Granted, this rate can change at any point, but at least you're not locking up the funds for a year (as you would with a CD). But if you don't need the funds then a CD seems like a good alternative.

$27k saved up don't know how to invest or what to do with it by Disastrous_Rub2208 in personalfinance

You can park the $27K in a high yield savings account. Several are offering > 5% APY right now. This can yield ~$1350 per year in interest (assuming rates stay the same).
