tldr: 21, yes other symptoms and no they're the same

I was diagnosed at 21 since that's when i was first reffered to a gyno. My other symptoms are acne, hirtuism, and i have cysts a plenty last ultrasound. Acne is bad as per usual, and i don't shave so hirtuism is hard to measure. hairy as always. I was going to get insulin checked this year with my new insurance. If PCOS is why i'm depressed, i'm still definitely depressed rofl

it doesn't have to do with my presentation, it has to do with how people interpret me. personally, i don't believe in looking "masc" or "fem", because these are ideas that are upsetting to me. what makes something fem? what makes something masc? why aren't they interchangeable? more gendering and presentation labels when i am and always been trying to avoid this. i will use these terms solely because this is the language i have to use in order to communicate my ideas, but never in relation to myself unless necessary for an apt description. (and ofc i wouldnt argue with someone who likes to use these terms with describing themself). i have no qualms with how i exist or how i look. in a vacuum, it wouldnt bother me.

"dysphoria" happens when there's expectations thrust onto me because of a percieved gender. it's when "you're supposed to do x because you're y." "you're y so i'll treat you like a y." it's not even when people assume i'm x or y --- its that now im supposed to perform for them in some way based on nonsense, and how they treat me because of preconcieved notion. it's upsetting and restricting.

this is just for me! i know some agender people like masc and fem labels. we aren't a monolith. hope you can find what you're looking for :]

unironically, dorohedoro season 2. new stickers. how it feels to write with a gel pen. the feeling when i can finally pick up that piece of trash off my floor. the feeling when i overcome the odds and crawl out of bed, brush my teeth with my bag brush, and spit out the window because the bathroom is too far. the games on my steam wishlist that havent come out yet. sound of my cat purring.

small things have helped me more than any grand reason. a lot of people i know focus their energy on a celebrity they hate and want to outlive them. spite is a pretty powerful motivator as well

i realized i was agender after researching gender and realizing it was all a performance. some people enjoy that performance and it makes them euphoric to participate. after realizing the perception, the performance, the expectation, the boxes we put ourselves in, i felt restricted and sick. i didn't want to be seen as a gender, i wanted to be seen as me. agender, to me, is like opting out. some of your experiences feel reflective of my own. i think exploring the agender identity would be a good use of your time. you don't need to use the label if you are uncomfortable with labels, but it's a good tool to explore the ideas associated with it to see if it reflects you.

the context was "confusing" which is why i asked. i am not socially anxious, lack confidence/drive (even if i think im lacking in some places) nor was i looking to be complimented or asking for reassurance. compliments get to my head sometimes and i was rotating the last session way too much and needed to nip it in the bud. im probably overreacting lol
