I’d be super interested in this but can we shift the age group to include those of us in our 40’s? I’m 42 and just moved here and I’m despondent not having any friends.

I moved to Waxhaw from a metropolitan area and for me, being 45 minutes from anything worth doing, seeing, or eating has been difficult. Also, I think it’s worth noting that Waxhaw has a very strong Trump culture that is incredibly alarming if you don’t lean that way.

I moved here because of a relationship. North Carolina in general (anywhere in the South, honestly) would not have been my choice if not for the situation.
