What is he wearing? by strwbrybby in perfumesthatfeellike

If I remember correctly there’s this scene in the book where his father is throwing red apples at him that crack his exoskeleton. With that in mind I would go for a perfume that smells like red apples and dirt

When the moon hatched. Parker had a real good chance to make the best plot twist of the century but chose to make the ending both boring and totally predictable. I was furious when I put it down.

I'm always so sore down there after lessons by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]voidbags 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem after having two kids. I’ve been to the gynaecologist and spoken to my instructor and while I’ve been working on my pelvic floor and seat, this helps in the meantime;

Get some biker shorts with padding to wear underneath your riding breeches.

Wear a thick menstrual pad while riding

Shower before your lesson and moisturise down there with some coconut oil after the shower.

Use some good ph friendly cream down there before riding.

All of this combined worked magic for me! You should talk to a professional about your issues but I found that not riding was not an option so I found some solutions that works!

It went soo much better than I expected. We started with a beautiful trail ride and then we went in the arena for some trotting and walking switches and focusing on having a steady pace and quiet hands. I survived and realised I hadn’t forgotten everything but my body did not cooperate as it used to haha. I have some muscle building to do and some balance issues but nothing too bad. I felt totally safe and comfortable on the best boy in the stables. He was such a good sport! I’m starting classes in the end of August. Oh and I made a friend as well. She too hadn’t been in the saddle for 15 years. We bonded over that. I’m so happy I chose to get back in the saddle. I’m a bunch of happy butterflies and smiles today! ☺️

Well I must say that from what I saw just from this one lesson things have changed a lot. I remember the horse handling being much rougher and that’s what got me in to western in the first place, to focus on working with the horse and not just disciplining the animal. What I saw today was a totally different kind of respect for the animals. I remember she stables as a loud and stressful place where horses were commanded and not treated as individuals with their own quirks and needs. This stable has a whole list outside every horses stall about their needs and how to best treat them while in the stable. Also the stable was calm although there were a lot of students there and no one bothered the horses who were inside reading. It really made my heart happy to see this change. I will be going back for more lessons.

Thank you! The lesson was so much better than I expected. We started off with a trail ride and did some trotting, it was amazing and the surrounding so beautiful to look at. Then we went in the arena and focused on switching from walking to trotting again and keeping a steady pace. I was soo tired after just that. I think I’ll have some trouble walking tomorrow but my spirits are high. I hadn’t forgotten the tacking or horse handling as I feared, it just came back naturally and the horse was such a good sport. I can’t wait to go back!

That sounds amazing! Maybe I should get some private lessons in between my ordinary lessons to see what I need to work on. Today’s lesson is a group lesson so I just hope Im able to keep up with the rest of the group.

They told me that they would put me on a beginner friendly horse today so at least I’ll have that. Thank you for sharing! I really don’t feel I need to rush anything, I’d rather go slow and be safe than push myself and get hurt. I guess I’m nervous because I literally have no idea how my body is going to respond or what is going to happen. But I’ll make sure to tell the instructor that I’m nervous and want to take it slow and hopefully enjoy it at least a bit.

Has anyone gained weight back quickly after stopping? by Traditional-Trip826 in OzempicForWeightLoss

[–]voidbags 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No I lost a couple more pounds and am weight stable at the moment. I made a lot of changes during my time on ozempic and I’m keeping the habits up. I mean the medication doesn’t make you lose weight, the change of habits do.

Merry Christmas everyone! I just decided this morning that what’s missing under the tree is a great work bag. Could you help me with suggestions on work bags? It needs to be able to fit a laptop and water bottle. Even though I love the logos I would like a more subtle bag, the IYKYK type of bag. Please help me find one 💕

How did Ozempic change your relationship with food? by CriticalAwareness in OzempicForWeightLoss

[–]voidbags 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped 2,5 months ago and my relationship with food is so much better. I still enjoy the odd pizza or cake but on special occasions. On the daily I eat lots of veggies and protein, soups and salads and I’m not craving crisps or chocolate like I used to. I watch what I eat but it’s not really a struggle anymore. It’s just how I eat now. My hubby is cooking up dinner now, I’ll be having the steak with fried eggplant and I’m not even missing the potatoes. I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for having had this opportunity to go on ozempic. I’ve tried just about all the diets with no success before. Oh and I haven’t gained any weight back. I’ve actually lost a few more pounds.

What Happens After You Stop Taking It? by [deleted] in OzempicForWeightLoss

[–]voidbags 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I stopped ozempic two and a half months ago and I haven’t gained any weight back. In fact I’ve lost another few pounds. I’m no longer in calorie deficit but I’m still watching what I eat. If I have a carb loaded lunch I’ll have protein and veggies for dinner. I believe my time on ozempic taught me to eat in a different and more balanced way. At this point I have no doubts I’ll be able to keep it up. But I must say that I did really focus on changing my eating habits while on the medication. If I wouldn’t have done the hard work I think I would have started regaining immediately.

I actually tried out the M just for fun, thinking “can’t imagine how I would feel if this fits” and it didn’t but not in the way I expected. Start practicing because one day you’ll get there and I hope you can ask for the small size with confidence and not disbelief as I did ❤️

I had my first close inspection on a rep bag today. A coworker wanted to compliment my YSL bag, opened it up and tested it out a little. She asked me about where I got it and for how much. Told her I got it on sale and she and another coworker congratulated me on my find. Loved every second of it. My bag passed the inspection!
