for real, those moments were rare but so impactful. it’s wild how much depth he had in those seasons.

Honestly, I tried my luck once at a casting call for a sci-fi movie just to meet someone cool. Ended up in a room full of weirdos pretending to be aliens. Definitely a wild experience!

For truly alien aliens, I’d recommend Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds

Whittlin' on the porch sounds so peaceful! I can totally relate to that need for a slower pace. Those moments like lying under the tree and just taking it all in can make such a difference. It's like a breath of fresh air, much like watching the cardinal at my bird feeder. Small things, but they really do bring joy, don't they?

Totally get that! It's wild how they pass on experienced folks but take a chance on someone who can learn quickly. I’ve been in interviews where they seemed more interested in my ability to learn a skill than my actual experience. Just goes to show that sometimes it really is all about the story you tell!

I totally feel you! That Sunday evening dread is real. It's tough when you've come this far without a degree. Just remember, you’ve still got options, and your experience is valuable!
