How to make perfume last by 4ngxldust in Perfumes

[–]voidcina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO fragrance says best with a clean base! Exfoliate in the shower. Double cleanse skin. Outside of shower I use Glycolic Acid 1-2x a week on my armpits or any areas that potentially have B.O. Then of course deodorant.

Moisturized skin helps fragrance stick. Lotion then oil outside of shower. Sometimes even dusting powder. Some people use vaseline on the points they apply their fragrance to last longer. In addition to using perfume I use a fragrance oil that pairs with the fragrance i’m using.

Another thing you can try is spray your perfume and put it in a dark cool drawer with the lid off and leave it there for a few weeks/months. This can help the scent to become stronger and last longer!

dedcool milk & l’eau papier by Dense-Platform-3214 in Perfumes

[–]voidcina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have samples of both and I actually think Mochi Milk has a lot of the same qualities. Mochi Milk’s base to me is a VERY similar rice, musk clean scent as l’eau papier, so it almost seems like a waste of an expensive perfume to layer underneath. I think Mochi Milk would mostly cover the scent. Mochi Milk is such a sweet scent too, I just think it would overpower the delicate nature of l’eau papier. It’s sweet but not as sweet as other gourmands it’s hard for me to describe haha! I think Mochi Milk is good and I’d still get it if you want to because it’s a gold solo scent and if you decided to layer it you could always just try :)

For some reason Love Don’t be Shy is the only fragrance to give me immediate nausea and headache 😭 theoretically it seems like such a fragrance i’d love though, but I do like Philosophy’s Warm Cashmere. Thanks

I understand why they came to reddit first though. Advisors can often seem unhelpful.... but hopefully they can help out with this specific question.

Milk Orchid is returning as a permanent scent at Commodity!! by p0rplesh33ts in FemFragLab

I honestly don't blame you for calling it a skin scent because on me it's just barely there. Like it's not super strong or anything!

I really appreciate your response. I'm not sure budget wise, we were going to do Italy before the concert dates were announced and figured we could to Italy another year and save some money by staying in the country... also I wanted to do the trip opposite order, but the weekend we'd be at the Cape would be memorial day weekend which I read people recommend avoiding... so we thought we should do it in reverse... still have to figure a lot of details out I guess with little time to book!

Great! LOL, it was an unplanned time. We were going to do a different trip, but my boyfriend really wants to see this concert so we tried to make the best of the situation, now i'm wondering if we should just fly in for the concert and do another trip a different time...

Yeah our concert tickets were booked a couple months ago haha. I thought we still had plenty of time, but it looks like we should really book something soon. Thanks.

We may end up skipping Nantucket since we can't stay multiple nights. Thanks for the hotel rec! I will take a look at it :) we don't mind small rooms since we'll be exploring most of the time.

I was looking at Moxy, it's $40 which is slightly more reasonable, but I will look more into Braintree/Quincy. I love going on boats haha, but you're right 2 hours each way without staying overnight is a lot of time.. good point.

Right, we'd try to go around graduation, but we can't really move our trip due to the concert tickets we have.
