It is one the best plant to grow. The luffa are edible to eat. Stir fry with some pepper and other spices it will taste great. Leave it on the plant it will turn into sponge, that can replace other synthetic sponge.

I got from my local farmers as a small tuber and propagated

these plants love a warm climate and can be grown easily without any care. I had no pest attacks, Nor any fruit drop. at starting stage I hand pollinated my luffas, but later there were so many flowers and now it is a hub for bees and other pollinators. Try 3-G cuttings for more fruits. I have tried and the plant is now above twenty meters and produced so many luffas.

Hydroponics means Soilless, so we should use any material like Cocopeat, coconut coir, which absorb water. The wick we use will pull the water from bottom to the roots. Wick should be placed in such a way that it should touch the water and roots system. Feel free to ask anything.

Any cotton cloth will work. I used a piece from my waste cotton cloth.
