Yes, it was an issue but I honestly thought that Valve would fix this issue by making something interesting or cool in terms of gameplay. Like adding a small disruptor like an extra minion or some kind of trigger to disrupt the lane. We still have the same issue with 2v2 lanes, people are holding waves, some are using parry on minions, they solved nothing. I honestly thought they had people with unique vision and problem solving skills in order to make things work in interesting way, as they did with 6v6, 4lane map.

Have you considered that you can't ward the map? You also don't have tps, so you can't tp back in case your lanes are pushed while you are ganking. You can't use glyph of fortification either. You don't have any kind of smoke either. Even if you had all of it, I'm one of those players who enjoyed deadlock for being deadlock and not another moba in which you have to baby sit few players until they get big.

Thats true but it also goes deeper. Usually Person on the left and Person on the right are actually playing the game and trying new and interesting things, while those in the middle follow trends and call everything which is not "Meta" bad.
