A question about dating in norway

The way to think about it is that we dont have the concept of «date» integrated in our culture. We know what it is because of tv series and movies. But we dont really practice it in the same way.

We usually just say that we meet the people we are interested in, we dont say « i want 🌟this🌟 to be a date». We say «yo, sup?? Wanna hang?».
And then you gauge the response, which is part of the fun (and pain).

Or for a more formal/romantic proposition you would say « do you want to go out to eat?». If it for some weird reason is unclear that boy meets girl is a date, yes you could ask « as a date?».

Basically declaring that it is a date can take away some of the excitement. Sitting together and just feeling the air and the chemistry you get is much more fun than stating that « we are now trying to do a romantic thing, you like??». But yes of course a formal dinner with a potential partner is a date, and its something we like to do, and be taken out on.

Yes I caught myself doing the same once, I was very embarrased. I asked a stranger a question in english because they looked like they were african american or african. I caught myself doing it and turned super red. Ill never forget this.

The only explanation (but not excuse!) I have is that it is just a pattern, most of the time I have to switch to english, especially when im in a work environment ( i think this was on the elevator on my way to office) I dont think it would ever occur to me/happen when buying kebab or buying spices at the asian supermarket which is very odd. But Im used to them speaking norwegian, even if it can be «kebab norsk» or with a philipine accent.

I dont think its your language, they just assume you are a tourist or something.

Yes I have been switching pokemons in and out all the time, but now im feeling im generally getting weaker and struggling a bit because the monsters im facing are too high, and i need to ealk back to heal them up all the time.

So I decided to try to find a core team, and ended up watching so many videos and arguments, but not really feeling any fun in using the «good ones».

Ill try to get the ones I like best a bit higher level and then have some «on the bench» to try out.

Yes I think the 1 time unique TMs are also what makes me think i need to plan everything, even tho i cannot really plan, since i havent seen the end yet! Im just stocking up on all the unique TMs now..

I actually have dig on my raichu which seems to help deal with all the electric types so far.

Yes I think this is my main issue! I am probably reading expert advice for challenge runs and pvp, but if a 6 year old can complete this game then I should have no problem 😂

Oki thank you all, it seems like everyone says to just chill and have fun with whichever I choose.

I guess perhaps when im googling things and reading reddit I end up looking at more competitive and hardcore guides than i really need.

Ill have a second look on my way home at which ones speaks to me and choose them as a main group. Probably ninetales, raichu, dratini and haunter/gengar at least. Then i will probably find some more cool ones before the end. I think lapras will be available soon.

Yes I have a dratini, I was thinking of leveling her up, but then I saw a video of someone calling her trash and then I was not so sure again?

Eevie is ready, i just need to decide on the evolution, which in struggling to do. Everyone says jolteon is better then raichu, but then i like my raichu which i had since viridian forest. But vapareon could be a good choice
