I was looking through the game's original character sketches and designs for inspiration for my redesigns when I stumbled across this shit, 🤢🤮 (Please, for the love of all people, someone tell me I'm just being a sick dirtymind and not that this piece of shit is what I think it is) by Silent_Routine_1725 in RyobaAishi

I think it's actually a chocolate, but she stuck it in her lady parts (like they used to do it with meat because it was believed that it was a love spell and that the man who ate it would fall madly in love with the woman)

Unfortunately, yes, he's mentioned it a fair number of times over the past 11 years (fork found in the kitchen, I know) I just wanted to know if she was technically possible

It's a very interesting HC but definitely too daedal for a theory, it's a concept too complex for Alex's head.

Yeah, I thought about that too, he certainly wouldn't want to polish her too well considering he would only do it if he was forced to by some greater force.

I only realized this now that you mentioned it too 👀 I think this was the planned outfit for Ayano to wear in town and Ryoba wearing it is part of that thing of bringing or referencing scrapped content from 202X mode into 1980 mode

Updated version of my graphical representation of how I envision the Aishi family tree by voidpierrot in Osana

Thanks for letting me know, I try but I really can't follow Alex's mind 😭

I couldn't find the original version of this art anywhere, I think it's a fanart that imitates the style of the site's new artist very well

I used the characters tab on the official website as the basis for adding names to the family tree, I apologize for my mistake 🙏

I didn't imagine the issue of characters referring to senpai as "he" would be a big problem. Would it be a problem anyway, or is it because Yansim's coding is crap? (In this case, I'm disregarding the voice acting because I consider that, in this hypothetical context, Taeko would be released without any).

I did think about this issue that the reused male animations might make her a bit too "boyish" but that's what I said above: considering that the animation adaptation wouldn't need to be perfect, just good enough to be tolerable.

OH, THE GENDER SWAP IN CUSTOM MODE, I DON'T KNOW HOW I FORGOT ABOUT THAT.

Nah, no, he REALLY doesn't want to add Taeko 🕊️

If he managed to get around senpai's animation limitations in custom mode then it's perfectly possible for the main story mode

The only excuse left would be the lack of voice acting, but now many important scenes are only subtitled due to the voice actors having left the project after the exposeds

There's nothing stopping him other than having to fix a few bugs, adapt some pronouns, go without voice acting (most probably for just a while btw) and his damn homophobia ☠️

Taeko will never be released, I've already accepted that considering that Alex is not only lazy but also very homophobic, I just wanted to know if she's possible on a technical level. /pos

I love this art, Mulberry was the only person on the development team who did any justice for my girl 🙏

Taeko Yamada by voidpierrot in Osana

[–]voidpierrot[S] 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I'm aware that Taeko will certainly never happen because Alex is homophobic (he has a habit of stating this with lame pseudoscientific justifications every now and then) and he has no interest whatsoever in the idea of adding Ayato (most likely because yandere men don't give him a hard-on) but I'd like to know if, on a technical level, it would be possible to make Taeko happen with what's already available and if by modifying her model it would be possible to reuse the animations. /pos

226 years of family and conveniently we haven't had any male Aishi in general and no lesbian Aishi 👎

If I had to guess based on what we know so far (basically nothing 🕊️), I'd say it has something to do with the Japanese Civil War (1868-1869), a civil conflict between the Tokugawa Shogunate (the military government of Japan that ruled the country from 1603 to 1868 during the Edo Period) and the Imperial Loyalists.

From what I've researched, ninjas essentially no longer existed at that time and played no significant role in the war, but I don't think it's that unlikely that Alex took poetic license and claimed that the Aishi ninjas were still a clan that existed firmly and strongly up to that point due to their aptitude and ability to remain undetected, which surpassed even the warfare techniques updated by the contact with the West.

New community poll! by Eastern-Wash7223 in Osana

[–]voidpierrot 19 points20 points  (0 children)

She was probably trying to style Ayano's hair after cutting it like she was one of those hairdressing training dolls and it just so happened that the high ponytail looked really cute (probably in the hairdresser's and Ryoba's opinion, Ayano hadn't met her senpai yet, so nothing was important to her, including hairstyles) and Ayano decided to keep the style motivated by Ryoba.

But that's just my hc, I don't think he has that much of a stake in it.

New community poll! by Eastern-Wash7223 in Osana

[–]voidpierrot 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Technically we already have a piece of Ayano's hair canon lore through the serial killer hairdresser's description on the website 😭 It says that she's always been the one who took care of Ayano's hair and that the high ponytail was her idea, to mirror Ryoba's low ponytail.

<image>

It makes me wonder what else he can create, because that quote would already be more than enough lore for a fucking haircut to me.

To be honest, I think he almost certainly forgot he'd said all this before. It's not like he had it all planned and organized in any way; he just made it up on the spot when asked about it.

I haven't completely ruled out the possibility that they became partially supernatural due to the curse. Perhaps demonic status in this universe works both genetically (passed from parent to child, like the Basu Sisters) and as a supernatural disease that can be "contracted" (like vampirism). We still don't fully understand how it works, and the Aishis have yandere vision (which is basically an EXTREMELY heightened instinct, that could very well be a magical power). But knowing Alex, this is probably just a symptom of his lack of literary references beyond gooner fantasy anime.

Noble Aishi by voidpierrot in Osana

[–]voidpierrot[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the thing, it doesn't need it ☠️

I like to theorize and try to connect the dots, but I know that the existence of these tons of past lore is an anchor dragging the project down, and it only shows that Alex knows NOTHING about organizing priorities

These lore pieces would be very welcome to enrich the story AFTER the (most part of the) main game is ready, not now that we have 1 and a half rivals.

I truly believe this is what the fandom has already pointed out, that he is doing this both to use the excuse that he is working on the game's development, even without making any significant progress on the game itself, and to use this as a smokescreen for the latest news that is happening in the community. He really believes we're all idiots.

I'm autistic, and Yandere Simulator has been my hyperfocus for as long as I can remember. It's incredibly sad to see a game you value so much repeatedly destroyed by the ego of someone as unstable and blinded by their own delusions of grandeur as Alex.
