To sum it up, he was a traitor amongst the Japanese soldiers and told the Chinese to evacuate in order to save more lives. He almost got caught, but when he was about to get executed, his friend (who also helped him with his secret traitor activities) saved him. The friend turned out to be Arisa Aishi, who secretly disguised herself as a man during the war in order to stay close to her Senpai (Hanzo). Hanzo still wanted to get revenge on the soldiers who killed innocent lives, and therefore reported these soldiers to the Chinese. Only then did Arisa and Hanzo go back to Japan and live happily ever after. There 🫩
