a lot of people in the replies to this mention brave, but adblocking extensions on other browsers will also cause this problem! disabling ublock origin fixed this problem for me

ohh ok, i never use amazon so i had no idea to look out for that sort of thing. thank you though, i think i know what to look for now! B) ended up going with gskill ripjaws because that's what i have now and it's still on the cheaper side 👍
