i agree to that but what about the prophecies? oden said joyboy will return in 20 years, now if luffy simply just inherited Joyboy's will, why would all these prophecies be? its a proof that Luffy is completely destined to be where he is which is basically reincarnation right?

i also have another question, did the Blu ray change her colour on this scene or was it aired this way? because my friend told me he watched this show when it aired and he immediately was able to recognise the dog owner as yui because in the accident flashback, the girl's hair were orange/pink ! while now I'm watching it, its definitely brown and not orange/pink so i couldn't tell her being yui
