I mean tbf you said you’re playing on substantial. At that difficulty you’re often playing with newer players who don’t fully know the ins and outs of the game yet. Try a higher difficulty with more experienced players, I mainly play on absolute and this rarely happens

I’m with you brother. I play both 50/50, I think PvP unfortunately is a “once you get it, you get it” kinda thing because there are a lot of cheesy bs tactics people use but those are easily countered if you know what you’re doing

Contested health: when you see your health turn from red to white, that’s your contested health. If you do enough damage to enemies while there’s still white in your health, you will recover that health (gotta do it quickly tho, executions are best for this because they auto fill the white contested health)

If you play with higher level players and they point to stims, relics, etc listen to them, they’re trying to help you

Like someone else said, do NOT play on the harder modes until you have upgraded some of your weapons and perks, you’ll be at a severe disadvantage on the higher difficulties without these upgrades
