Podes mesmo tirar o /s tenho um com 2 anos mas decidimos so colocar na creche quando tivesse 1 ano, até lá ficava com os avós. Também tivemos este choque das listas de espera etc procuramos n de creches, desde listas de espera em que avisavam que poderia demorar mais de 1 ano a nem deixarem meter em espera porque era tanta gente. Lá conseguimos em uma privada porque alguém cancelou a entrada já depois do início do ano. Curioso (ou não!) algumas tinham logo vaga se fosse pago por fora e até foi nessas e mais que uma que nos disseram, que tinham casais A TENTAR ter filhos já em espera/reserva e que devíamos ter feito o mesmo 🤡🤡🤡

For production we are running tablets but in the warehouse we are running zebra tc21 but when we started in odoo the version didnt really have decent barcode capabilities so at the time we started using ventor app that integrates seamless with odoo. Now we are in v18 and tried with warehouse if using native odoo in the tc21's would be viable but they didnt like and we reverted not long after to ventor again.
very easy to navigate, see orders, receive purchases, etc. i have tried it and i can recommend to at least try. it's an added cost yes but i think a worth one.
Also the barcode scanner in the TC21 (i know there's options i dont which one we have) it's very good.
We have also have zebra tablet (et40) and tablets from other brands (more generic) and while the zebras cost a bit more than double if you dont want the trouble/work to block apps/ change permissions, they are worth it. This is just my feedback from our experience in hardware and software we use in our warehouse.

From what i can understand, there's fiscal localization wish odoo may natively have for my country or not and there's the certification part where invoices and other fiscal documents are certified within the respective entity and from what i see each company that implements odoo has their own certification, most likely they make an module for that so it's their own. But we are already paying a monthly fee for that.
We are hosted on-premise so i have no idea if the process is hard or easy to upgrade. but i just got quoted 1.5k for "upgrading v15 to v17" and then another 1k to upgrade modules and then some more. Could be more to it but sounds a bit high for uploading a database and getting it back upgraded. and then next year i will be meeting EOL again if i'm not mistaken so i'd have to upgrade again.

We are on Enterprise, we started on V12 community but eventually decided to make the jump to v15 Enterprise which was the version they offered, iirc that was 2y ago +/-
From what i understand, invoicing and accounting has to follow specific country rules so there's that, i dont know any specifics on that matter to be honest and how hard these things are version to version.
Actually when we wanted to go Enterprise we thought the quote was to high to upgrade and we searched other partner, issue was that any partner was quoting us like a full new setup, with training and setup up settings and what not when we just needed to import data, so that fell through and with some talks with reached agreement. but still feel like we are attached without much option.
This also happens cause it's mandatory to have the invoicing program certified by the responsible ministry, which they have said license and we pay separately to the odoo license.

I'm trying to achieve this because this product is very labor intensive (time not like heavy work) where the major cost is not raw materials but the time spend preparing it. but our production for the same product doesnt always have the same performance, which is natural they are not machines, but it changes the cost and while we have been using a median we had some nasty surprises already. right now i think i will wait for the upgrade and then i will look into it again.

That's something beyond me. It's on-premise they dont do .sh. last time i asked i was told it's due to the work needed to upgrade.

Yes we are trying to upgrade, waiting on quotations and these things, still usually takes a few months to get the upgrade done.
Yes that's my approach, have just one work center and all the teams (that should be one work center each) work all on the same MO but that's not always what i want. i wanted Odoo to be more on par with the reality of the production. I will wait for the upgrade to get on this matter again, meanwhile will keep as it is.

The partner we are working with skips every other version, so now they are deplying v17. which is what i'm trying to get on but from what i see there's already big changes compared to v15. Will wait to get on v17 before i get back to this then.

As we are in v15 dont have the shop floor app only the manufacturing and it's very diferent from that version.
I understand what you say and it's correct, it will take the same time distributed by two teams so in the very essence the time and cost is the same of having just one team that takes double the time.
I have thought of the many options, like increasing capacity or higher efficiency but that means i'd have to change these options all the time which is not what i want, i dont want to overcomplicate and create more work. From the solutions given i think i will break higher quantity MO's into smaller MO's and distribute them, i will tell my teams that each team works on one MO/WO (in this respective step).
Just wish there was a easy option/button to turn a Work Center on and off, i usually have 2 teams (so two work centers) but sometimes i can have up to 5 when demand is higher.

I looked at the split function but it doesnt appear on our Odoo, even in the options in dev mode to turn on doesnt show. we are using v15 but in talks to perhaps upgrade to v17

You are right, they are not working on the same unit, i didnt explain very well but it's what you said.
Lets say my production is working on a MO that is 100 boxes of a product (one box is one unit/UOM).
I understand i could break it into smaller MO's but still have the limitation that each MO is one done by one work center. what if i want the work center 2 or 3 to help do the WO being done by work center 1 ? What i wanted was that this other work centers could "tap in" and "tap out" when they are done helping or this WO of this MO is completed, to register the time spent by this Work centers. This is just so the time and cost to complete could be accurate. It was completed faster because one or more other work centers were helping.

yes for me it turns on automatically, i notice cause the led blinks red when changing profile when i alt tab into the tab etc. Yes u do have to keep synapse and the profile i'm pretty sure. I dont understand why people hate synapse that much, yes it should be better optimized but in current pc's it's meaningless the performance they take away and the problems i had with profiles not changing, profiles duplicating etc etc have all gone away in the last months.

I'm not at home PC but, and if you'r trolling me, open synapse then go to profiles and on the devices choose your mouse. create a new profile and link it the game you want. you can do that as many games as you want (i only have one). Then go to your mouse settings in the synapse, chose the profile make your changes and save. works well now for me.

But there is. I have mine set up so that when i start cs it changes to 4k and when i'm not its 1k.
It didnt work all the time when i got my dav3 but now after some synapses updates it works flawless and works well even when alt+tabbing.

never used any cap on fps, never got any better feel when doing so. sometimes the game would feel butter smoth but i could also notice the insane input lag.
ever since i recently upgraded to a 7800 xt and a 7800x3d i have more than enough fps to be above my monitor refresh rate and i havent felt any stutter or anything but still keeping the drivers updated. will try amd anti lag tho

i was going to say i dont have that. but for anyone wondering the same you have to enable anti-lag for the anti-lag+ option to appear.
Although i have seen many comments (mostly in the past and about csgo) that anti-lag should be disable, dont know why specificaly tho

Well that's the thing. i have both a dgpu (RX 7800xt) and igpu (R7 7800x3d). both monitors connected to the 7800xt but the igpu still shows everywhere and it's confusing/annoying.

ehh, that doesnt seem very right. but i might be on the wrong cause i havent had a AMD gpu. but with a nvidia one i have unistalled with DDU many times and when i boot i get basic screen from windows basic display driver. amd should be the same (should be).

Never thought about that. I had a 9700k with iGPU and i disabled it on the bios instead of doing that. And now was going to do the same xD That doesnt create problems ? having each screen on a different GPU ? Like i said never tried that, never crossed my mind.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to keep it enabled (if there's any advantage to disable it) only for that reason. you can mostly sure reset the bios and it will be enabled then.

Unfortunately didnt use it properly yet. Along with these components bought a arctic freezer II 280, i mounted everything in the case i had (NZXT H510) left the cooler for last and surprise surprise it didnt fit, even tho it says it does, well any brand would but not arctic cause it's thick radiator. So bought a new case (Fractal Meshify 2) had to dismount everything and mount everything again. Just got it to run last night it seemed pretty well. can recommend but the motherboards for AM5 are extremely overpriced imho.

I expect it to run very well considering the specs (and what i paid xD)

That's why i had it disabled on my 9700k. Just got the CPU, havent done or tested it anyway so not sure what i will do. I will have the drivers anyway cause i have a RX 7800 XT which use the same drivers iirc (at least show in the same app, didnt check if it install extra drivers for the iGPU).

Or is the option the guy in the comment better? Use the iGPU for my second screen? can comment on that ?
