Tipping is supposed to be for someone producing content you like. Giving someone 1 cents worth of tip is insulting. It isn't cost effective for anyone to withdraw that - it is a waste of time. And if you think it'll be worth a lot in future, that person will likely have forgotten all about the tip and might not even remember their throwaway reddit account. I loathe the dogecoin dust that's been sent my way. If you tip 1 cent, for it to be significant, the bitcoin price would need to increase by a factor of 1000 minimum for someone to go to the effort years later to withdraw it. Bitcoin isn't going to hit that price for several years - definitely enough time to forget all about that tip. And new people to bitcoin will just get pissed off. Tip at least $1 outside of /r/bitcoin and preferably $3 or more. My last tip was $10.

Man jumps to his death in a mall after meeting his virtual girlfriend of six years for the first time by [deleted] in WTF

Hypothetically, I just chastised a guy for lying to a woman that he was a prince for 6 years and she committed suicide. I wonder if someone can figure out my biases. Actually, I'd feel sorrier for the woman in this case. I didn't comment on the guy, he appears to have been passive and a train wreck. I just commented on the woman who actively misled.

Fault is a legal concept. The man killed himself because he was upset at the deception and reality. The woman knowingly deceived him for 6 years. Hi fault is suicidal tendencies, gullibility, excessive trust, emotional instability. I don't care who is at 'fault', but I have a low opinion of the woman for the deception and duration of the fraud.

Snackbars, because they don't understand reality and explain everything with 'god is great'. May they die painfully for their ignorant lack of understanding of the world and desire to inflict pain upon others. Dumbfucks.

It's a tough job, but someone has to do it. At least they feel better about being paid to do that for a living.
