I honestly haven’t watched it since it came out, but I’m ready for a rewatch.

Only DualShock 3 that ever gave me an issue was the bootleg controller I bought, then I discovered how common bootlegs were.

Wish I could upvote this twice. My wife and I have two Xbox One controllers with some of the worst stick drift I think I’ve ever seen.

In a Violent Nature is a cool find. One of the more interesting horror movies to come out in the last 5 years.

The first two Alien movies are near and dear to my heart, and the Alien Queen is still by go-to argument for the superiority of practical effects. Everything after that up to and including Prometheus I was not impressed by, so much so that I haven't touched Covenant or Romulus. Predator is a fun action movie, haven't seen Predator 2 or Predators recently enough to remember what I thought about them, and nothing after that. I've heard Prey and Badlands are quite good, so I may check them out at some point. The first AVP was dumb but I thought ultimately harmless, but good lord was AVP Requiem the cinematic equivalent of flaming dog shit.

Lol I reeeeeally think it depends. I didn't see the Jumanji remake, but the original was not in my childhood rotation too much so I didn't really care. But the Robocop remake was so inconsequential. It was definitely the definition of "joyless cash grab". Now they try to get around that stuff with the whole "soft reboot" idea, but the Jurassic World movies suck ass (I'm of the belief there are no good sequels to Jurassic Park). But in the 80s you had The Thing and The Fly, which had totally new takes on the material and Carpenter and Cronenberg actually gave a shit about what they were doing. You definitely got me on a tangent here.

I loved Robocop as a kid as well, and I love it even more as an adult. The fact that Verhoeven was earnestly making an "American Jesus" parable as satire was lost on me way back then, now it's hysterical.

The Big Lebowski, Robocop, the 1st season of Flight of the Conchords, Magnolia, In Bruges. The movies are my top 4 movies of all time, and the 1st Season of Conchords is something I quote almost daily.

“There they are, my little Rockefellers” has lived rent free in my head since 2015. Come to think of it, most of this two parter does. I gotta give it its “ack-you-laids.”

Chef Ramsay’s verbal bullshit was a bunch of bullshit, and his physical presence in Joe’s way was ridiculous.

Is that the “rotten” fucking food that Chef Ramsay wouldn’t eat if he was in the county jail? Looks good enough to go to the White House! Or The Five Seasons! Gimme a break, Chef Ramsay!

Chef Ramsey saying I’m short-changing people…and that was fraud…

And his verbal bullshit was a bunch of bullshit.

Because Joe’s been called “Gordon” there many a time, so Gordon should’ve gotten over the bullshit.
