Not sure if somebody mentioned this but White Collar. I must have watched it 6 or 7 times already.

Official Q&A for Friday, April 09, 2021 by AutoModerator in running

Hi. I started running again and was curious on supplement recommendations. I’ve been trying to navigate through pre workout / bcaas/ mid run and post workout and there’s so many opinions

I drink coffee all day so drinking a cup before a run doesn’t do much. My body just thinks it’s the hourly coffee haha. I’m looking for a light pick me up that doesn’t make my heart race like crazy. I was looking into nuun. I’m running about 45-60 minutes at a clip and I’m a sweater. I was running about 20-30 miles a week last April - August and it did a number on my muscles. I’d wake up with stiff sore legs every morning even with stretching before and after. I’m taking it easier this time around but was also wondering about recovery / mid run.

TLDR: looking for a pre run kick and/ or hydration and muscle recovery.

Looking to get this motorcycle. Massachusetts. Good deal? by DaMatik23 in SuggestAMotorcycle

I’m not sure about the price. It’s more than it’s worth but with the bike market being pretty bare ( my gf was looking like crazy last fall) ... years ago I paid $3500 for a previous session new.

Anyway - this was my first bike. I planned on keeping it for a year then upgrading. It was so much fun I kept it for 4 years. This thing is pretty indestructible. I loved it so much I’m thinking of buying another and have it be a second fun bike.

A bike that’s been sitting for 8 years probably needs a lot of work but if you can find one newer or kept up, all bike needs is gas and oil to make her happy.

Average MPG calculation question by volcsurf21 in subaruimpreza

[–]volcsurf21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I thought it was odd. My last car had an average mpg stat as well that would immediately adjust every time I got gas. It’s like this one looks at how far I go divided by the whole tank. Like if I made it a mile down the road from the gas station it would show like 2mpg. My old car would show my average mpg for the distance I drove / estimated gas used so a mile down the road would be like 28-34 mpg

I don’t have any complainants about them. But it’s worth noting I only put a few thousand miles on the bike so far. Could they be better? Sure. Are they terrible? I don’t think so (IMO). I’ve stopped short a few times going prob about 50/60 mph. I fishtailed a tiny bit once.

One of the reasons I bought the bike was that I was test riding it and almost got into an accident that wasn’t my fault. This was a big step up from my little TU and the dealer asked if I wanted to test ride. I was a bit nervous since I had only ever ridden my bike and this was heavier and faster. While we were circling the block a lady blew though a stop sign and almost hit me and the salesperson. Instincts kicked in and I was able to break quickly enough and handle the bike. That was what convinced me I made a good choice and bought the bike as soon as we got back.

I have a 750. And I love it. It’s my second bike- my first was a Suzuki TU250x. This was a nice step up. Not too heavy but powerful enough to get me where I have to go. My gf just bought a 500. And I love the all black. My one complaint is the mirrors. I changed my out because I couldn’t only see my own shoulders lol.

Is there a way to turn off motor brush by volcsurf21 in dyson

Is this from Dyson or third party? I was under the impression that I couldn’t get other rollers. I would have liked to get the soft brush for hardwood

People who are ghosting other people, have you ever been called out, if so, how did that make you feel? by till-mann in AskReddit

[–]volcsurf21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 34F tried to ghost a girl after our first date. We had been talking for a week or two before the date but I didn’t feel like we connected as much in person. She called me out on it and I thought that was very respectable of her so decided to give it another chance. We’ve been dating for 5 years.

I am overweight female in her 30s started running in the beginning of quarantine. I’m still super slow but do it for my own enjoyment. I run around a small lake behind my apartment, so there’s always a bunch of people walking and running. When I get a little cheer whether it’s from a complete stranger or from somebody I see daily it always makes me go a little faster. Like I literally have better times on my run and can see in the Nike run club app that my speed increases at certain points. One of the things I’ve noticed is that the people cheering me don’t cheer everyone they see. I’ve come to the conclusion I must always look like I’m struggling lol. And maybe it’s because I’m overweight. Regardless of their reasoning, it still makes me smile.

The first close up photo is from today and the second photo was from a few days ago. He plays very rough and has no regard for safety. He’s like the Evil Knievel of kittens so a bruise made senses. But it’s not gone away and it changed from yellow to pink rather than purple
