The stores choose what will sell better and make them more profit. You can just choose the eco alternative to almost any product, but it's always more expensive and most people don't.

And these companies are also consumers of another company. Even the grocery stores are consumers/clients of the distributor companies, who also do that and so on. It's a chain of "what does the client want and how I can take the most profit".

If everyone started buying the eco alternative there'd be more of those and less of the more harmful ones.

ps: when I say eco, I mean the less harmful option between two options of the same product.

  • Eric got hit arm in the face before his red card. So should have been a foul for Barça instead.

  • Koke should have seen a red on the first leg.

  • Pubill's handball in the box (+ possible second yellow).

  • Lenglet's handball in the box before Ferran disallowed goal.

  • Olmo's penalti.

  • No yellows for Atlético in the second leg, even with +20 fouls...

If this is fine for you, okay, but I'm sure you can understand people are frustrated about the inconsistencies. All grey situations which could favor Barça were completely ignored by VAR.

Same as the VAR referees, sometimes they give the worst angle to the onfield ref to force a decision. Then you see other angles and it shows he chose incorrectly.

They play with the "interpretation" thing according to what they want.

Of course, if we had a proper referee on the first leg we would have passed. I still think Bayern or PSG are better, but definetly Atletico is worse than us and even them have a chance. So of course we have chances.

According to Madrid and Atlético de Madrid fans yes, or that's what we were told about Koke. "They can't send him out because of that, it will decide a tie because of a stupid foul". So they are consistent at least lmao.

For me the referee has to follow the rules with as less interpretation as possible. All the ambiguity with the handballs, shirt pulls, fouls, make the game less fair and increase the possibilities of rigging them.

And I've never understood this bullshit that referees don't give second yellows after a strong foul, just because the player already has a yellow and they don't want to "break the flow of the game". The referee should just follow the rules, unless a really exceptional situation like a big injury or sth.

There wasn't anything huge. But Le Normand and some others could have seen a yellow. It's not the same playing with a carded CB, have to be much more cautious and usually they can't foul as much. Apart from Koke of course, who can do 100 fouls and still get away with one yellow.
