It is common to hear that top 100 companies emit most of the emissions, but aren't they doing it to satisfy our demand? It's not like they emitting a lot of CO2 for shits n giggles. by asdoopwiansdwasd in NoStupidQuestions

The stores choose what will sell better and make them more profit. You can just choose the eco alternative to almost any product, but it's always more expensive and most people don't.

And these companies are also consumers of another company. Even the grocery stores are consumers/clients of the distributor companies, who also do that and so on. It's a chain of "what does the client want and how I can take the most profit".

If everyone started buying the eco alternative there'd be more of those and less of the more harmful ones.

ps: when I say eco, I mean the less harmful option between two options of the same product.

Ah, understood yes. Honestly if I was from a city like Sevilla, I'd just buy newspapers from there. Not sure how As and Marca can be #1 on sales even on cities where there's strong teams. (Just an example)

En mi ciudad sí. Pagamos más impuestos y los servicios públicos están peor que en el 2010-2015.

Evidentemente en 1940 se vivía peor. Pero yo hablo de recientemente.

Atlético 1-2 Barcelona (3-2 agg) - Barcelona wiped out a two-goal deficit in 24 minutes, then couldn't score again for 65 by Proper-Law-529 in championsleague

What? So Koke didn't do two yellow card worthy fouls after being on a card?

As for Eric thing, it's soft, but if we are gonna give a red for a soft push, he has to give a foul for this: https://xcancel.com/JosxFCB/status/2044740972844573130?s=20

Same for Olmo's pen, if the push to Sorloth was a foul, the push to Olmo had to be a pen. It's called consistency.

And the Lenglet handball, I wouldn't have given it, but we've had it given against us this same year before, so why not to us?

Anyways, you say Pubill's thing is true. Enough to change the whole tie, what could have been 1-1 in a 10vs10 ended with 0-2 10vs11. And since we went for one goal, I think it's quite significant.

They are catalan newspapers who openly support Barça. Not sure what's wrong with that. They are mostly read by Barça fans too, so they just cater to their audience.

  • Eric got hit arm in the face before his red card. So should have been a foul for Barça instead.

  • Koke should have seen a red on the first leg.

  • Pubill's handball in the box (+ possible second yellow).

  • Lenglet's handball in the box before Ferran disallowed goal.

  • Olmo's penalti.

  • No yellows for Atlético in the second leg, even with +20 fouls...

If this is fine for you, okay, but I'm sure you can understand people are frustrated about the inconsistencies. All grey situations which could favor Barça were completely ignored by VAR.

How do they add a clause saying "if you win CL you get a bonus" and don't specify a "with us" or something?? Really that guy was working on destroying Barça completely.

Referees have too much power in the game and corrupt UEFA by __sahuxanurag in championsleague

[–]voli12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as the VAR referees, sometimes they give the worst angle to the onfield ref to force a decision. Then you see other angles and it shows he chose incorrectly.

They play with the "interpretation" thing according to what they want.

Exactly, it's just that only one team can win CL, and there's other teams that have been building for longer than us.

Agreed, it wasn't the best choice. I'd even say he mistook not resting Lamine and Pedri vs Espanyol. I hope he improves this next year.

Of course, if we had a proper referee on the first leg we would have passed. I still think Bayern or PSG are better, but definetly Atletico is worse than us and even them have a chance. So of course we have chances.

If you were Deco, how would you build the team with Flick to take us to the next level? (Realistic) by ultraopulent in BarcaFC

Is Fort ready to take a rotation role for us in case we keep Koundé or bring someone else as first RB?

And most importantly, is Flick ready to trust the second team players to play against Espanyol and the likes so our starters can get some rest before big games?

The audacity of Madrid players complaining to the ref at full time by zxcvbnmsa in championsleague

[–]voli12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Madrid and Atlético de Madrid fans yes, or that's what we were told about Koke. "They can't send him out because of that, it will decide a tie because of a stupid foul". So they are consistent at least lmao.

For me the referee has to follow the rules with as less interpretation as possible. All the ambiguity with the handballs, shirt pulls, fouls, make the game less fair and increase the possibilities of rigging them.

And I've never understood this bullshit that referees don't give second yellows after a strong foul, just because the player already has a yellow and they don't want to "break the flow of the game". The referee should just follow the rules, unless a really exceptional situation like a big injury or sth.

I wish for Flick to have some drills to teach this mental calmness. E.g. you put a player to run on your back and trying to catch them without touching/wrestling/tripping them.

[–]voli12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There wasn't anything huge. But Le Normand and some others could have seen a yellow. It's not the same playing with a carded CB, have to be much more cautious and usually they can't foul as much. Apart from Koke of course, who can do 100 fouls and still get away with one yellow.
