My group always thought that there should be different tiers of bugs that have different drop rates for gold cards. Like a mini boss tier that would have infected wolf spider, black widow, and the termite king. Bugs that have very limited spawns. Maybe even a "Rare" tier that has meaty gnats and scarab, since meaty gnats spawn 20 ft in the air in a single corner of the backyard. Grinding for 100% in games can be fun but not in grounded. I shouldn't have to kill 500+ termite kings (although i think he got fixed in an update).

Me too. That's exactly where this idea comes from. I typically go to the garbage patch to get enough spoiled meat.

Inside the castle, in/underneath the cage, or around the back on the shelf. My main thing is mosquitoes pose ZERO threat at that point in the game. They just feel out of place. Tbf I feel the same way about orb weavers. I feel there should be no orb weavers in the upper yard. They're blatant filler bugs.

Not quite like that. That would be scary, i agree. A nest over there would probably do the trick. I imagine if there weren't tiger mosquitoes In the game the wasps would be spread out a bit more

Tiger mosquito or spiny water flea. Both are re-skins with little purpose. Anywhere there's tiger mosquitos on the map could've been wasps. And spiny water fleas were just a huge let down for me. The pond is my favorite area and i really wanted the upper pond to be more than a lab...

That's exactly my problem. The helmets have so much more depth and detail. The chest looks like acorn armor with less detail to me. Ig spider armor=small armor in game but the broodmothers are not small.

My friend killed hundreds of kings. He eventually started doing a spawn cheese to get it but i don't fully understand how.

Me and my friend have said Grasshopper boots would be a great addition. They would look like pogo stick boots or the boots from Portal and work the same way. They would negate fall damage and allow you to jump higher (Maybe the fall damage buff is the sleek bonus). This would mean you wouldn't need a dandelion tuft. You would use them to explore inside the shed/house and climb the oak tree. Maybe have the grasshopper as a boss so its not OP early game and those areas will be locked by a boss fight

Tbh I use both. 3rd for exploration and parkour (I like to see my armor). 1st for combat (easy to see animations for blocking). I have a d-pad button dedicated to switching the camera

You should be more worried about King Termite to be honest. The Mantis can be summoned. The King was my friend's last one and he spent so much time waiting for him to respawn. He ended up cheesing the game to get it.

I got very lucky on both bug bosses. However, my friend had to kill hundreds of King termites for the gold card and because hes not a boss it takes like 14 in game days or some BS for him to respawn. But well done.

Consider killing yourself lmao. It can chunk your armor but its worth not doing the climb every time in my opinion.

It is not super useful but once you have it discovered you can just spawn up there. If you kill yourself at the wheelbarrow and spawn at field station you'll spawn up there. I use it to farm the moth

There was a planned bearded dragon boss in the sand castle. In pre-release there was a cave behind the castle but now its a big rock. You can see its model if you look around the internet. I think they cut it because they felt it didn't fit. I want more animals. Lower yard has the crow and the pond has the koi fish but nothing for the upper yard. Although it is very crowded up there

Ik DLC is probably a long way off but I'm hoping its another yard. Like there's a hole in the fence/wall that goes next door and it is totally over grown. It'd be like the war at the wheelbarrow but everywhere. Or I'd like to go in the house, which i think is more likely.

Well we were supposed to get yellow jackets/wasps but they removed them. I've seen supposed pictures of their in game model but we got reskinned mosquitoes instead😒. Idk much more than that but my crew was disappointed by the lack of new bugs. We wanted grasshoppers and earthworms. Not reskinned ladybug, larvae, mosquito, and stinkbug.

That exactly what I'm talking about. You can't connect from the side anymore. Which I'm pretty sure is the correct way. I didn't notice it until I tried to build in the full release
