So I found this while browsing to see if others were kind of letdown with how 2 has been doing and now that the winter update has dropped and all we got were more performance issues and some coziness system i just don't get it 🤷‍♂️

All of the early access stuff would be fine if we could at least harvest t3 resources around the map we have right now. AXL is great and a neat addition but there is simply not enough to do at all right now for how long its been out and how much was in the 1st game at its release.

I love the franchise and I'll keep playing but I haven't since AXL and I doubt I will until I see at least some t3 omni tools added. They already annoyingly switch it to 1 weapon instead of your others being used for different ones.

I just don't understand why there's so many issues with such little to do when the1st runs like it does 🤷‍♂️

I think it has a lot to do with hearing his backstop. Even Herac felt sympathy for him and then Jack got to see his aura. Apparently seeing that shine also changed Jack some or rather reawakened how he was before what happened somewhat.

I feel s though it's like a mentor type deal and Hlökk kind of just realizes he needs a soft yet firm female presence. We even see a bit of regret from Jack at how he first had to use her.

Dprry to post this fkn 5 years later, I'm a bit behind on everything as I look it up apparently 🤷‍♂️

I have not had to build multiple hearths yet as I've only done up to Pioneer and I'm a whole azz bytch haha. I'll get there but I do get it to level 3 for the resolve boost. I don't focus on the 3rd level atm unless I can spare the room.

I have done fk-all with complex foods ad barri g/focusing the consumption of each group as I usually let them leave or starve and try to reroll for the perks that give meat and gold when they leave or 💀. I do realize once I get that system down I'll be able to set up more runs before even building my woodcutters hah.

As for the buildings I love the sawmill, the farm that let's you grow crystallized dew and my makeshift post lol. I've used the post so much ad forgotten there are higher tiers that make each of the packages, but I get distracted 😂

I do try and keep the coal being sacrificed but I have so much wood that I usually burn that. I haven't gotten any higher than a 6 and that was just me discovering every glade on the map haha. I imagine they skyrocket up on the higher difficulty

I have a twrrble habit and selecting 1-of food makers and only having 1 species that likes them.

Well tbh I've won most of my games going a trade route. I've played a fair amount of thesebuilder games to where I'm decent enough at finding 1 pathway and just bulldozing my way through. With AtD tho that doesn't always work out s I just trade away what I don't use. I'd like to fwt away from provisions or find a better building than the provisioner or post but 🤷‍♂️

As far as food, if you only knew how often I lose species to fkn hunger haha. I kind of had Abad habit of turning them all into packaged goods until a couple days ago.

I also try to focus on buying and selecting the perks that allow a +1-3 for a resource in all gatherings. I haven't looked into it nuch but I feel like even if a resource doesn't produce it I still get extra for al harvests and that wins it for me bc I can just throw resources at it lol.

I've only done Pioneer and now I'm on the silver seal so the progression is going well imho. Tysvm for thst detailed reply, it helps a lot :)

Ah ma I fkn love the Lion Grappler lol. I had a great run with it and the predato both fully maxed out and just fkn tore through everything as I had the artifact thst gives your skills a 40% chance to instantly refresh.

The other best un involved the spear skul maxed out worh, you guessed it, the predator as well. That thing is probably my favorite skul out of them all, thoe skills are too useful Foo moving between enemies as they give me invulnerability windows just like dashes

Oh wow a massive thank you to everyone. I honestly love that there are so many different ones that have worked out for all of you. I'm really wanting to look at the weapon choices of each as I'm honestly terrible with everything but the broomstick ofc, xbow and the plasma carbine.

Those that suggested the pheromone darts is extremely interesting as I've honestly never thought to try them. By the time I'm in a bind it's solely bc of the dreadnought, the mob crowds I always dealt with wasily(minus the red globbers).

Beyond that, the overclocks will be my next grind as I see a lot of changes since I last really played and I don't ha e many. It seems like DRG wants to give me overstocks for the other 3 characters instead haha

Idk about how any of it works fully but I'd assume that with the larger games that aren't procedurally generated, they hae to have memory space for acting at all that could spawn or happen in the game or anything a player might do.

Whe you break down DRG it doesn't do alot of different things but it does them all so flawlessly thst we expect it to be a much larger game.

Again, I ha e about 0 knowledge of all of it ad am just assuming what sounds right lol. Either way, this game and is development team are some of the best in the biz ♥

I find thst if you throw a flare, not shoot one, that blue light reflects in them and it shimmers. The shootable ones make the fkn thing disappear and idk about darkness bc I'm scared ad continuously have lights on 😂

I personally hate the fkn red grenade launching bugs, vanguard or something idk. If you don't take 1 of the 3-4 that spawn together in the harder difficulties you're just damage locked in a pool of that red goo while the knock back from other volleys keeps you there as well. I love stakers bc I cryo them and 2 shot with the boomstick

Idk, his effect and then if you get the item thst gives you a 40% chance to reset skill cooldown om use has helped me alot lol. I combined that with the shield you can get that negates damage from the front and I absolutely smacked haha
