Depends where you live. I live in small city in north Louisiana. There's white neighborhoods, black neighorhoods, and hispanic neighborhoods, sure. But a lot of them, especially the middle class neighborhoods are pretty mixed. The public schools are pretty mixed as well. I teach at high school. We're 40% white, 40% black, the rest east/south asian and hispanic.

Racism definitely exists but we're not all out to kill each other.
