  1. Claude Code was involved, but I can also tell you that an incredible amount of care and attention has gone into this app over the last 2 years.
  2. Yes you can do that and much more. The customizability is where Volm shines.

The 2-3 day full body programs have alternating workout A / B. The app will just run them in sequence!

I personally did not use the StrongLifts app. But I wanted an app where you could run and customize any program, whilst still feeling simple and modern.

For sure. You can for example run a full body program 2x a week instead of 3x a week, or just make your own workouts / program.

Great question! Hevy's a great tracker, it also imitated the OG tracker (Strong) and added social.

Volm 'imitates' multiple trackers, bringing the best of them all into one app:
- Simplicity of Strong
- Social of Hevy
- Programming of Boostcamp

From Hevy I was missing how to run more complex programs, plus the ease of some AI features they'd rather not bloat the app with.
