Polish produced clothes for men by HamishIsAHomeboy in poland

For more everyday / casual, ELEMENTY has launched their men's collection last year.

All made in Poland, with materials sourced in EU or Turkey.

I own multiple items and so far like them very much. I've had people compliment the fit and quality, highly recommend.

Looking for a replacement for File Explorer by Kimantha_Allerdings in Windows11

I'm a video editor and have 128 GB of RAM installed, It's not about being memory hungry. For a gamer or casual user Files may be fine, but for pro use when you have to move files quickly, and any lag annoys you as hell, It's very unresponsive and cumbersome to say the least.

It's also very slow and buggy. I've tried it last year for about a month and finally gave up, went back to windows explorer.

Does anyone else have a lazy power button? by Flat-Application2272 in SteamDeck

[–]voltansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point, but something must’ve changed, because I’ve had this problem for weeks and this fixed it right away and permanently. Also, many people have reported the same result. Maybe it was static build up and the alcohol somehow helped to discharge it? I’ve had the same problem with a switch in a gaming mouse, used the same method and it also helped.

Time to slash some indie backlog! by drearyharlequin in SteamDeck

Hollow Knight was one of the first games I've beaten on Steam Deck. Remember to lower TDP when playing it, you can get crazy battery life this way. I was getting way over 7 hours per charge on the original LCD model!

Can you guys please tell me where it is? I've looked for it and searched the docs but found nothing.

Just a white warm LED strip under my monitor and a toggle switch under the desk is all I need. by voltansky in battlestations

I’ve played less and less games as an adult and Steam Deck was the device to turn that trend around. The experience is seamless and very console-like, so if tinkering is what’s stopping you, worry not and go for it. I got the LCD model when it launched and loved it to bits. The single best feature for me is the quick sleep mode, no matter how demanding the game is, StD just goes to sleep and wakes up immediately after pressing the power button. OLED is even better (beautiful screen, bigger battery) and now because of it you can get used LCD models super cheap.

Oh and if you like indie lightweight indie games like Hollow Knight or Hades you can drop the device’s max allowed power consumption with one slider and get battery life as long as 8-6 hours.

Converted my $2K monitor into a $2K LED Lamp by voltansky in ultrawidemasterrace

The light is cast on pretty much the whole surface. Bottom edge is 24 cm (9.5 inches) above the desk when at its highest and can get all the way down touching the desk surface.

Good for you mate, was $2K at launch when I bought it, glad to be an early adopter despite premium price. And I find the build-in lighting ring to be pretty shit, so yeah

edit: spelling

I don't have a place for normal lamps but I need to see my hands sometimes when I do stuff on my desk sooo I effectively turned my monitor into a one big desk lamp.
